Been most improved player this season. The song for him is shocking though

Yet again we’ve not been given penalties - the agenda continues.

Rashford clearly interfering - ridiculous decision.

Having seen the highlights their lad looks comfortably onside.
Wells one can go either way but good to get one of those.

Who bloody cares !!
Quite a few people I suspect - millions maybe even billions.

I don’t think either Bentley or Max are good keepers at this level - probably about same ability wise. Basically if one costs a lot more than the other and they are of same ability then it’s a no brainer to get rid.

Rotherham, Wigan and Blackpool are the ones I think to be above.

Good away point - should have won at Millwall but today was fair given they were better 2nd half

The one on Pring? He was dragged down at the corner. Perhaps him still connecting with it swayed the ref.
Semenyo was pulled on one too but would have been soft
No chance. We’ve been robbed many times but nothing much today going on.

How is that not a Pen ...... sorry I forgot who I was talking about for a second
We haven’t had one half decent shout?
Played like 2nd half at Millwall after they scored - need to turn this dominance into wins now.
-
He was improved in 2nd half but twice got cramp so not fitness not there yet.
-
Solid performance - gave them little. Could have won it with better finishing in 2nd half.
-
Nothing ridiculous about it. They show the teams who are either doing well or who generate big viewer numbers. We are neither.

We do still have Hull, Wigan , Blackpool and Rotherham to play at home. We are very inconsistent but you’d hope that our lack of luck (deserved to beat Watford and Sheff U for example) and lack of penalties might start to even itself out at some point.
It’s not impossible of course but I think we can get to the 50 points. Currently 49 would be enough based on 22nd’s points. It’s a tight league - probably closest it’s been in years. Only Burnley I’ve felt have looked good or miles better than us etc.

Difficult one this. I would like to see Eddie Howe or Graham Potter but timing wrong clearly. Not really any great candidates otherwise.
He’s done a great job of getting players and fans to care about England after the Iceland shambles. And we are undoubtedly a better side now than when we lost to Croatia in 2018. But you just get this feeling he can’t get the job done in the big moments (Croatia, Italy and France). All games there for the taking but lost one way or another.

The magic of Messi is he continues to be the best player on the park at an age where most are the worst.
-
Top 2 straight through - think we’d be going some not to qualify

It’s no conspiracy but ref was poor tonight. No foul on Saka or Kane in first half is poor. He was stopping play for non head injuries etc.
But England should score the pen and had other chances. You can’t win if you don’t convert your chances.

I know it won’t be a popular view but I think some of the reaction to the referee on here has been over the top. He wasn’t the reason we lost, and I think talk of plots and deliberate bias is ridiculous.
Let me say at the start that I don’t think he was great: he was inconsistent, never showed any real authority over the game, but in terms of the “big” decisions:
First French goal; the foul on Saka was a long way back and we had plenty of opportunity to stop what happened subsequently. Personally I thought it was a foul, but others (including on here) didn’t - and it was suggested that VAR would have looked at it - and if that’s the case then they decided not too.
First half penalty shout: again, I thought it was a foul, but arguably outside the box. I’d imagine VAR judged that to be the case, and so that decision was theirs, not the referees. He wasn’t given the opportunity to review it.
Second penalty: yes he missed it first time, but we don’t really know what his view/angle was. Today at Rotherham there was an almost identical barge into the back of a City player that went unpunished by the ref - and he didn’t have the benefit of VAR. In this instances the ref did have that benefit, took advantage of it, made the right decision. He didn’t give a red card because the attacking player didn’t have the ball under control so it wasn’t a clear goal scoring opportunity.
Overall, really frustrating because we were good enough to have won tonight, things just didn’t go for us. We matched one of the worlds best sides and on another day could have won. That’s massive strides from where we were a decade or less ago. And with young players who’ll only get better.
It was a clear foul on Saka for first goal for them.
I thought ref was really poor - stopping game for non head injuries etc. But I don’t believe he was corrupt etc - just awful.

Didn’t deserve to lose that but obviously can’t afford to be missing pens. Feels like another tragedy and you keep asking when will it be our time. Especially when the team are good enough

End to end. No.10 for them causing a lot of issues for Pring but Conway looking good for us. Need to be better stopping them from shooting at edge of box.

Kind of agree with this but at least decent crowd and will hopefully get some new fans along etc.
