That would be amusing - but not as amusing as if their application just got thrown out & rejected, in light of their utter disregard for planning rules..... The contempt shown towards the rules that everyone else has to adhere to, is surely reason enough to reject any application and should also come with a 10 year ban on submitting any future plans for approval.... Sounds only fair to me..!

I'm sorry, but this is ridiculous..! All that effort just to try & be noticed ahead of the transformation going on at the Mem.! Imagine being so worried about loosing your place at Europe's top table to The Rovers, that you have to make such a song & dance about a few little tweaks here & there to your ground - pathetic..!

It's you that make yourselves fairly irrelevant to us over the past 25 years. Don't worry- we still dispise everything about your club - but your abject failure, coupled with constant, repeated effort to make yourselves a laughing stock - mean there isn't much else we can do than look down on you & laugh at you (regularly) A large chunk of our fan base have never seen a league game between the 2 Bristol clubs & for that, the blame lies entirely at your door. When you finally get your act together enough to scale the heady heights of the 2nd tier again - or, God forbid, we come down to your level - whichever happens first - the hatred of your club will come flooding back as we'll have to listen to your cringeful dirge of Irene, see the vomit inducing mess of a kit you play in & be fully reminded just what bitter, nasty little scumbags your fans & everything associated with your club are. For the past 25 odd years we've kind of forgotten about just how vile you actually are - but it won't take long to remember - when you actually get the right to take to the same playing field as us again. Do hurry up though..... we've been more than patient and it's actually getting quite boring..!

Tony Dining. Lansbury had very little impact here - but was part of a pretty dreadful period here. I don't think anyone would have come in & looked great.

Booking fees are annoying, no doubt - but everything has them. Concert, theatre, cinema aswell I think... It's not just something we have made up. Why booking fees can't just be swallowed up in the actual vostok is annoying. I'd rather pay £35 for a ticket than £30 plus £5 booking fee - for some reason..!

I get the frustration, of course! Many clubs seem to find that magic formula, which we seem to never quite nail at this level. Having said that - we are in the right position to be 1 excellent season away from getting to the top flight - after a ridiculous length of period away from it. Every year we fail to achieve it, the harder it gets as other go up & come back with added financial clout to compete with. 23 other teams probably have similar aspirations at the start of each season - so it's not easy! Plenty of other clubs would swap with our position in a heartbeat- but yes, we absolutely need to have that golden period ourselves, soon.

No need, thanks. Several people stood up against his vlaims of moronic bullying of a dad out with his kids & you said that grown men were crying about it. I hope, if you have young kids & are ever out in a public place & some moronic yob starts hurling "dogs abuse" at you in front of them - you get people standing up for you - and I doubt if they do, that you'd tell them to "stop crying about it". Some things cross a line & hurling abuse (not a little bit of banter, but "dogs abuse") the way of a dad out with his kids for a day out, is pretty classless, scummy, idiotic & bullying behaviour.

You can't just have an over entitled whinge about clubs overtaking us & not balance it with looking at clubs that we have over taken. We have no more devine right to success than any other club. Of course it can be frustrating - but how do you think the likes of Derby, Wigan, Ipswich, Portsmouth etc feel..?.

On the Rovers thread you are literally backing the bloke who said he hurled Dogs abuse at a bloke at Paddington who was with his kids wearing Rovers shirts & claiming that those who are shooting him down for it are "grown men crying about it"..!!

Plenty have over taken us.... we have over taken plenty of others... That's football..!
