I can only assume he just meant they were expecting their biggest gate of the season..? And their knob of an ex player co-commentating actually claimed that the Mem had "one of the best atmospheres in the country"..!

I would think that Gark Monk would be very good appointment for Rovers. I'd be surprised if he'd stoop that low - but who knows how desperate he is..

I'd think that Mehmeti getting any minutes is highly unlikely - let alone getting a starting place. Absolute waste of a squad place whilst NP outright refuses to give him any minutes. He surely has to be a more effective option than Yeboah, at this stage, but just seems so way off getting any game time that it's pointless him even taking up one of the half time orange segments..!

He joined them on 22nd Feb when they sat 19th in League 1. He leaves them in 16th in league 1 (2 points above 19th place). They are in such a better place than when he took over - Joey says so.

I reckon I've got more chance of getting minutes in Bristol City league match than Mehmeti has.

Tried it once & couldn't do it. Annoying but just ended up leaving it & the tickets went to waste. Added their accounts to my profile. Selected transfer tickets. Bit on the allocate ticket page it wouldn't go beyond that & actually let me do it. I did wonder if it was because I was doing it on my phone, so gave the friend my log on details to try on his desktop (I was flying off on holiday) but he couldn't do it on that either.

0-0 would have been a pretty harsh scoreline, seeing as we scored 1 and they had no shots on target....

League positions mean nothing. They are the best team in the division. End of. Joey says so, so it must be true... If a team who have been docked points end up getting more points than a club that doesn't have a deduction to contend with, doesn't make them any better than Joeys team - in the same way that teams up around the top of the table, with more points, who score more goals & concede less goals... just numbers blah blah blah - none of them are as good as Joeys team..!

No teams are better than them. None of the 16 teams above them in the league table have any rightful claim to be better than Joeys team..!

You need to keep up mate - Joey tells everyone who will listen, every week, that they are the best team in League 1. Case closed. Don't be fooled by little factors like being 17th in the division distract you from the truth - that they are the best team in that division. Joey says so, so it must be true..!

You said it yourself - in December we were 18th. Today we are 8th. What fanbase wouldn't have a variable in poll results about the manager between those to 2 situations..? In my mind, regardless of the limitations he was working within - we didn't look like we were progressing atall at that point. Fast forward to now & we look alot more balanced & have much more of a fame plan that we did , pretty much upto the Millwall away game at that time. Keeping in touching distance whilst having so many players out injured could well see us being capable of a serious top 6 challenge when they return & that is a whole different prospect to how things looked back in December last year, imho.

I can't see what you are confused about.... Upto last December we were pretty abysmal & NP's stats were up (down) there with the worst of any manager we've ever had. Since then we have been much more competitive & are doing better in the league. I think you'd struggle to find a club in the country where the fanbase aren't more content with the manager of a team in the top half of the table that the manager of a team who are in relegation trouble.

They used to get home crowds of less than 5k back then & bar the odd cup game, I can't really remember playing them much back in those days. The Salako game at Ashton Gate is the only game that springs to mind 88/89..? Then a couple of cup ties.

You hadn't been to the Vetch then.? I vile place, with full on anti-English hatred running through their veins. Quite an intimidating place to visit, quite like Ninian Park, both in their own run down, shitehole kind of a way. Both now far friendlier in their shiny modern stadiums - to the point it always amazes me how friendly they both are to visit.

More fool them for paying their substandard players £11k plus per week........ Pretty sure, judging by their recent transfer activity, that the meccano set had been sitting unused in the loft at Ashton Gate for a while & when we decided we had no future use for it, Rovers snapped it up from the "free to collect" Facebook pages - much like a growing number of their recent players.

The first season they both started getting game time, I was always more impressed by him than I was by Scott. Of course, he's faced horrendous injury setbacks since then & may never properly recover- but if he does, then he will be a fantastic addition to the squad.

How is a 12 moth rolling contract an insult.? It's the most sensible type of contract & basically runs indefinitely - it just means that at any point, there is a year left on the contract.
