You don’t half talk a load of shite. No one on here is claiming any of the items you have listed in your post. Your post is verging on the hysterical (not in a funny way to be clear). Why do you feel the need to make things up? Would it not be more helpful to people on both sides to simply just engage in a grown up discussion as opposed to spouting your utter nonsense?

Not going to say your thinking is wrong at all. But I think that the events of the last 5 years have divided this country for at least a generation and that division is seen most keenly across all mediums of social media, including this forum. The division is here to stay for the foreseeable and imho will only get worse in the short to medium term as it seems to be affecting most facets of everyday life.

Interesting video from the events at the Cenotaph with various reasons given for being there https://thebristolcable.org/2020/06/reflections-on-the-all-lives-matter-protest/

Amici Bar in Nottingham during the Calderwood reign there. Forest thugs randomly attacking our fans (‘scarfers’ not anyone looking for trouble in the slightest) so was not unhappy to see a large contingent of our chaps coming back towards the pub to even out proceedings once theyd obviously got wind of what was happening.
  5. Hilarious some of the comments on this thread. He had a rant. It’s definitely wrong but it’s not anything too dissimilar that we’ve seen from the likes of Warnock etc over the years. LL has given years of service to Manor Farm and non league football in general. He’s admitted he’s made a big mistake and will rightly face punishment but calls for him to face 10 year or even life time bans are frankly truly ridiculous.
  6. First half last week, second half this. Seems the pattern of not being able to put a consistent 80 min performance together has continued on from last season. Was hoping that would improve this year but still very much a work in progress. Semi a massive loss as well.
  7. It was an embarrassing moment for sure but can’t see it causing a mass loss of respect for Pat in the long run. We played well last week. Think we’ve just been found out a bit in general and we’re nowhere near firing atm.

Again, I’ve not condoned any violence whatsoever, I have simply answered your point about the term ‘CSF’ being heard. It was a general comment to your point which you have taken way too far. You’re fighting the wrong person.

Most definitely. My point was only that it’s still chanted whenever there is any hint of trouble. No doubt that it’s not followed through like it used to be!

Sorry? What’s with the aggro? You said you’d not want your kid to hear it and I’m saying I hear it at away games? I’m not condoning it just answering your point. Get a grip.

The CSF chant is heard at a lot at away games if there’s ever even any whiff of trouble.
  12. Still getting used to the fact that we have experienced, knowledgable, high quality professionals in charge at our club who speak in a language we can all understand, clearly and concisely and with the confidence that they know what they are doing and that it will produce results. Such a relief to know the club is in such good hands as we now go forwards and it must instil great belief and confidence in the players. Exciting times.
  13. Up there as one of my favourite City moments. Amazing game and day.
  14. Wonder where he’ll end up next. What a waste of talent.
  15. Loved working and drinking there. Certainly saw some interesting sights and sounds. Had a great juke box as well which is another thing I mourn the loss of across the piece. Being from Somerset and being brought up on the stuff I thought I could drink Cider with the best of them but CPS was quite an education and quickly made me realise that I was still very much junior ranking compared to the regulars there!
  16. Hoping they continue it on Sunday as I’m going up to the game. Looking forward to it!
  17. Certainly sounds like it! Rob does a cracking job.
  18. Never mind Garner, is that a new tent in the far corner? Splashing out big time!
  19. Essentially unless the cider (CPS was a cider house) was overflowing over the top of the glass when you served it, regulars would call it a dockers half. Told off was a bit strong but it would be asked to be remedied immediately! Passing a glass back with only a third of a pint in it and asking it to be filled up for the cost of a half was pretty normal behaviour. Used to do it myself quite a lot come to think of it!
  20. Used to work for a couple of evenings a week there when I first moved up to Bristol many many many years ago. An interesting introduction to bar work as basically I had to run the place on my own of an evening as a young 20 year old who had never worked behind a bar before. Frank Sinatra at the end of the night on the juke box to make sure regulars knew it was time to go. Getting told off for serving a ‘dockers half’. Loved it. Although a Cheddar Valley (derv in those days - not the soft stuff it is now!) drinking contest went quite badly one Saturday afternoon! Sunday cricket team as well. Bloody loved it.
  21. Fantastic night, tight game and the loudest I’ve heard the Gate for a good good while. Genuinely felt like the crowd had a big say in it tonight. Hope it came across well on the box. Always lovely to beat they buggers!

Absolute rubbish - how can you even know that (you can’t) and there is no way in the world NP would play him if it were even remotely true. Some of the comments on this thread are truly embarrassing - he’s a really young player for OUR team who has his bad parts to his game but also has great aspects as well. Why oh why he is getting a) his own thread singling him out in the first place when there were others (far better paid and more experienced) players last night that were equally as bad (and b) getting so many hyperbolic responses on the thread is embarrassing imho. Just hope the kid doesn’t read it because I know if it was me it would upset me at being singled out amongst that performance last night and I’d be asking why that was. Thankfully we have a measured experienced manager to steer him through.
