  1. Do they have a Waitrose in Barry?
  2. Isn't that from September 2015? With the last entry June 2016, and no consortium to date.
  3. All apart from about 11 seasons, and then their bigger attendances were only by relatively small margins.
  4. There was one question the interviewer asked about are the family in it for the long term, or something along those lines, his replay was in the singular, saying after hesitation, I am in it for the long term. I thought that very strange, as if he doesn't want to lie but, can't really let on that the family could up sticks and take their funding with them. He has so many get out clauses to draw on and still be considered an honourable man to the befuddled few. In some ways I feel a little sorry for him, but then I have a crap and I don't feel that way anymore. I think he was stitched up by the selling directors of BRFC, as much as Balfour Beatty buying overpriced shares in Cowlin's, on the strength of their redevelopment contract for the Rugby ground, only for that contract to be rescinded by BRFC some six months later, I think under the chairmanship of NH, who I think, sold his shares in Cowlin's to Balfour Beatty.
  5. 50% correct in spelling test equals a fail. In future, revise a little more and aim for a 75% success rate.
  6. Poor spelling Alex, stay behind after class.
  7. 50% of the Hayles money went back to the directors. They loaned the money to buy him (£225k) I think. He was sold for £2,225m, the directors got their loan back and 50% of the profit. Not bad business for the directors, who at the time included the two Dunfords and Barry Bradshaw. At the same time, their manager was getting sell on fees from the sale of players, how were these people doing anything for the real benefit of their club?
  8. I don't think it's advisable to claim that it was definitely burnt down deliberately. Though we might as well agree that it was a decrepit old stand, with much wood within the structure, little contents of any value, and the club were in need of finances, (aren't they always), so a prime candidate for a shyte head arsonist to do the dirty deed. But as I said, we can't think that was the case.
  9. Owned by Bristol Stadium Group I believe, which included some of their directors. They did receive insurance money for the burnt down stand, which I think was used to buy the Hambrook training ground. Which I believe, was then sold and the Beeches bought in the ownership of the Dunfords. Obviously this then became Rovers training ground which was rented to them by Dunford, rather than paying Frys to use their pitches.
  10. Yep, well remember Aberfan chants at AG, replied with chants about the Swiss air dissaster. There will always be misinformed/stupid people, and I was guilty of that back in the day, I'm sorry to admit.
  11. Just a normal Rovers flag isn't it?
  12. He's good on the ground, a slippery sort with a venomous strike.
  13. Half a snake is nearly an ake, or a sna. It could be a per, a der, an onda, a cor, or bra. And I haven't touched a drop, perhaps I should, whilst getting my coat.
  14. Had to look him up, Ken and Pat spring to mind.
  15. She found it in an old handbag at the back of the wardrobe.
  16. It's called "Not Workington" now. My gran was from Barrow. She was a classy lassie.
  17. Yes, and, he came fourth, so, no place for an also ran. No deal Edward.
  18. I'll have to think about that one a bit more. Not sure if the riders from the east are Jordanian, Taiwanese, or it's Barry Bradshaw back in the picture with EW.
  19. Bert is definitely telling the world that, Edward Ware, is in talks with a Taiwan person/s and news is out Thursday.
