  1. Too right we will. You think scum is worse than SHIT. I'd rather have a bath with scum in it, than I would with SHIT in it. You obviously prefer the second option.
  2. So SHIT is a crass nickname but, "scum", is "a vile term of abuse". Personally, I think Shit is much worse than scum.
  3. 5 pounds each so, four hundred using gas logic.
  4. They've a new addition to the menu. Number 9. Meow tsi tung, with noodles. Basically, cat's tongue and straw.
  5. You forgot the Partridge in a pear tree.
  6. Make the offer? Or complain? There was definitely no offer, maybe a proposal by a councillor. There was definitely, a winding up order because of the council rates owed.
  7. Don't remember a serious proposal from the council, perhaps muted by a councillor. I do remember that the council issued a winding up order for non /late payment of council rates, which wasn't very helpful.
  8. They invested that and doubled DCs playing budget.
  9. But once they had paid for it, the club then increased the entry fee, for providing better facilities.
  10. Successive shareholders/owners robbing the club dry for their own ends. Trying to steal Ashton Gate. Attempting an arrangement with Bath City to ground share, while openly admitting they want a ground of their own. Conveniently having a chairman of the rugby club, who wanted his money back and arranged a very dubious deal that favoured the football club, who then as a reward, made him an honorary life president, "for services to the football club". Allowed Stockport County and it's supporters to travel for a match, knowing full well they were going to get the pitch unplayable. Did the same thing for a game against BCFC at Twerton, because they were suffering with a few injuries. Have consistently been in bed with the local media to smooth over numerous bad news stories, while having their Rovers loving reporters and staff dig up and front page any derogatory news at all possible on BCFC. Did their utmost behind the scenes, to halt BCFC's plans for a new stadium, presumably through fear. Chose to be the only professional, or amateur sporting club in the region to not support "Bristols" bid for the 2018 World Cup. Blamed Bristol for all of it's failed attempts to get a ground, even if the ground was in South Glos, or that they never ever had an application for a new ground lodged. Formed their own political party, to oppose Bristol's council in local elections while playing in Bath and paying rates to Bath City Council. That lot was just off the tip of my tongue. Carry on believing, it is after all, the only thing left for you.
  11. Any City fan is a bell end in the mind of a gashead, that's why they're always removed from their forum.
  12. What an absolute load of bullshyte over an allegation, for that's all it is, an allegation. Old gas refers to "the incident" not an alleged incident. Billy bullshitter, otherwise known as Henbury Gas, alleges an incident with photographic evidence, I suppose that means, a close up of a fist going into the poor chaps face and the face of the City fan, if not, it's not evidence of an actual assault, just an injury, which could have occurred anywhere, but hey! we'll say it was a City supporter anyway. This incident might well have happened, but what a way to get some points scored, by using a vulnerable person, who might or might not have got things wrong in the first case. I think this say's more about the person peddling the story for personal gratification, than it does about some alleged incident that there is no record of. Many a vulnerable person has decided to support BRFC for numerous reasons, none of which are understandable. While we're at it, a great friend of mine, who doesn't want his name mentioned (neddy), complained about getting hit in the snout by a dirty gashead when all he was doing was trotting along the road. I do have photographic evidence of the horse/sorry, friend.
  13. He'd had good reports to be fair, from his brother, Lee's Uncle. That went well, according to the whole support base.
  14. I went for a check up as a precaution. They only found a stripe up.
  15. I once replaced my loo roll with one, it was such poor quality that I had to throw it away after.
  16. No, it's true. They dig up all the dirt they can on BRFC and splatter it over the front page and hide any negative stories eminating from AG. I know, the editor in chief assured me.
  17. The unbiassed evening post, once did a comparison between the two clubs support. They found that there was very little difference between the two overall attendances, claiming that Rovers support was really quite good compared to city's average. They were correct but, their comparison was an average attendance including home and away matches, especially when rather large attendances were recorded for Rovers away games over the Christmas and new year period, which resulted in there being a narrowing of averages. The home averages were rather more defined with from memory, 6k more average attendances at Ashton Gate, than at the old Eastville.
  18. It's just the usual dribble spouted by the post, to the self appointed best fans in the world bullshit brigade.
  19. I notice that Shrewsbury feature in two of the three highest attendances, I reckon they must have been in the majority on both occasions. Having said that, the cuckoos did make a special effort to take their Grannies, Grandfathers, Husbands, wives, kids, grandchildren and neighbours children to Wembley, in an attempt to prove what a massive fan base they have. I think they had encouragement from the directors to show the size of their fanbase, and the need for a new stadium, because of it's size. I'd like to see a break down of the adults, concessions and kids tickets for that game. What I remember is, every photograph shown of that day, seemed puffed out with people who don't look like they'd attend on a regular basis, or, even know where they're going. So many family groups were pictured, it wasn't like a normal football crowd. Actually, it wasn't a normal Rovers football crowd, the only families not pictured, were the usual attendees of BRFC matches, the families from hell.
  20. Quite agree. The labour council thought big when agreeing to fund the Royal Portbury Dock. It saddled the city with debt but, was proven to be one of the city's best ever investments.
  21. Agreed but, central government effectively punishes the area due to the separated authorities. Each one makes a separate or sometimes joint application for funding, and each one is systematically turned down, in favour of a scheme in an area with a higher population. The reality is that this is not the case, it's just that the area and population are sub divided and each area wants to remain in control of their budgets, without relinquishing any power to an authority which might just get that funding. Divide and rule comes to mind in this area, it's always struggled to attract funding from any government, regardless of political persuasion. Although disliked by many, the former Avon area was better equipped, if not always successful when applying for funding from central government or European funding.
  22. North Bristol and South Glos politicians have requested that money planned for the Portishead line, should be reallocated to North Bristol projects.
  23. Not surprising really, as the application was made by North Somerset. That's North Somerset, that don't want to be a part of the four authorities charged with improving the infrastructure of the region. They are lead by that little hitler, Elfan App Rees, a stupid little empire builder that won't relinquish one iota of power, for fear of a hit to his massive ego, so they opted to go it alone. Or so I understand.
  24. I understand the addition of their new stand is to increase not only, the capacity but, also the in tents atmosphere. Sometimes it's so in tents, it's unbearable for many fans, who have been canvassed for their opinions. One supporter, a Mr Guy Rope, said he and his wife Peg are holding firm in their support of the clubs new plans and want to see the ex tent of the development.
