  1. I’m almost certain this isn’t true The reason you see it more later in the game is just that’s when it’s most likely to happen.
  2. Still the same old moans and groans but a team we never beat in their own back yard (60 years since the last time). 41 euro qualifiers unbeaten too. That is a massive win in a group that has the potential to be a real banana skin. So happy for Kane, i think he’s a level above Rooney (who I loved) just a shame j was hoping to see him clinch it on Sunday as I’ll be there. Rice is outstanding, a really talented lad and we’re lucky to have him.
  3. Can't be, he doesn't do speculation
  4. Admittedly that's based on Chilwell's pre injury form and hoping he gets back to his best - otherwise it's Shaw obviously I think white deserves a place, he's played there all season for Arsenal and has an understanding with Saka. It just makes sense to me - and Walker / James haven't been better than him. Could make the same argument for Shaw on the other side tbf. Midfield and Attackers pick themselves for me at the moment (based on England form)
  5. Pope now out of the team injured too, replaced by Fraser Forster. Rashford and Mount out too, though Mount was always a doubt
  6. Agreed with Pring as player of the season and Scott probably for young player, or Conway (though difficult to justify after a lenghty absence) I didn't receive an email either
  7. This is my point, the game was never going to survive the weather regardless of that clip of the guy dragging some water back on. Is it true they had the sprinklers on at half time though? That does seem bizarre
  8. There's a difference between injury prone and coming back too soon though, in my opinion.
  9. Why does it feel like Weimann’s been missing more than that? Rovers might have been ?
  10. JD getting targeted so much in the air, he has no chance and now it’s led to a goal
  11. Looks stonewall to me, given the current handball rules/criteria
  12. This is what I thought, just incompetency / lack of attention. Theres no way they were making that playable anyway
  13. Well it did, you opened it ?
  14. Same I usually park up by Parson Street station, usually more of a 20 minute walk though I guess
  15. I still try and avoid the scores and watch it without knowing. Usually fairly easy on days like to day where I’ve paid little attention to any football. Often don’t watch it live though, usually catch it before the end when I go to bed and iPlayer let’s you return to the start, or watch it Sunday morning before football
  16. I’m very pro Southgate, won’t deny that but for the first time I agree the squad is questionable. What is the point in putting Toney when he’s about to get his with a lengthy ban? He may as well have put him in sooner if the betting scandal wasn’t an issue. Walkers in hot water at the minute so from Southgate’s usual moral standpoint he perhaps is lucky to make the cut. Phillips has so little game time, Maguire too. Although Maguire has always been pretty solid for England I can understand it.
  17. From a purely nostalgic point of view I’m glad we stayed in the location my Dad first took me 30 years ago, and his dad first took him. I think that’s special. There’s no doubt though that moving to a new location would have been the “better” option for the club
  18. Luton’s press is good and it’s causing panic at the back/on the ball. What doesn’t help is when we do get the ball forward, we have no one to make it stick and give us any reprieve. Luton are making us look shit with this press, and Pring in particular is having a nightmare unfortunately
  19. I felt It started before that with Max’s throw out which was poor. This is the worst we’ve looked in a long time. Rabbit in the headlights at the moment need to ride the storm and keep it 1-0 and try and get a foot in the game
  20. Hated it when I first saw it, just looks awful in the pics and the badge. Looks decent on TV tbh
  21. Plenty of parking in nearby housing areas it wasn’t last year if that’s any indication
  22. I think you’re taking the word too literally. Acts of sexual assault can be done to elicit power or control (or get “a reaction”) as opposed to being done in a “sexy” way. I think it’s a bit of a fine line to do such a thing, you wouldn’t get away with at work. The infamous Vinnie Jones pic would most likely land a player in trouble these days
  23. I agree with this and I believe that’s how bookies define them - eg if it’s blocked it’s not a shot on target
