  1. I'm surprised that question wasn't asked, it's probably one of the biggest mysteries around the kit debacle
  2. Available, and worn, in time for Millwall away I'd imagine. And I know we don't need an away kit for Millwall, but we've worn our away kit there a few times in recent years, especially white kits
  3. The problem I had with Bristol Sport kits, and I had a few of them, is that each year it would be a completely different material and fit. There was no continuity, I'd buy the same size and on one shirt it was baggy and the other it was too tight. We may as well have had a different brand each year. In terms of quality, they've lasted, but I dont wear them as much tbh With the likes of Adidas, and more so with Hummel as again I had a few of them, the fit was the same each year. I've got 2 years of keeper shirts and a home shirt and they all fitted as I expected.
  4. Not sure how it was offside by my understanding of the rule. Original ball in didn't go to her when she was offside, as soon as it's played by someone else (and assuming she's now on side, which she was) it should be irrelevant. Great finish though
  5. Typically anything done delibaretely to gain an advantage - think Chiellini pulling back Saka in the Euro final
  6. Bit like us but more intentional ? Also had to check, I didn’t realise the splat was on the back of last years home shirt? That went in quietly didn’t it?
  7. I'd argue it is now starting to It wasn't just that which was required, it was a change to the whole system and culture in this country. International influence has definately played apart (along with a fairly decent vision from the FA)
  8. FWIW I should add I probably wouldn't go near the away kit if it has that stupid new robin on it. That's usually only associated with home kits though, as away kits regularly change.
  9. I feel there's a story there that I've missed! I'll be honest, if we announce a blue away kit I'll be buying it. Just because it'll be one of those rare one off shirts that will be iconic - all be it perhaps for the wrong reasons (being blue) I don't really have an issue with us wearing blue, Rovers are pretty irrelevant. A different shade would be preferable though
  10. Or the only other answer is that it’s intentional, for some weird reason. Someone must have thought it would look good?!
  11. So as I mentioned I have the pink shirt and can confirm the badge is normal size, identical to previous shirts However I can also confirm this bit does actually look like this. It’s really unimportant - but utterly unprofessional.
  12. The question makes little sense to me but it said club.
  13. When has that ever meant much to us ?
  14. Or a promotion, 7.7m views on that video…
  15. Clearly a bloke with a questionable lifestyle, but each to their own on the legal aspects. Don’t really know the ins and outs of what he was accused of and what the girls actually said, but ultimately he’s been found not guilty. Let him go to France and be their problem now. Appreciate that very few accusations turn into convictions, and not guilty doesn’t mean innocent. It’s also probably worth considering that most rape allegations are one word vs another - done in private with no witnesses, that’s why it’s so rarely convicted. I’m not sure there’s a way to increase conviction rate in a 1 v 1 scenario without drastically lowering the burden of proof.
  16. So, I’ve bought the new keeper shirt, the pink one. When they were first announced I liked the look of it and the Mrs gave me an IOU for it’s release. Initial thoughts: Material feels just like most football shirts, lightweight “shiny” feel to it similar to the Hummel shirts. The badge is sewn on not printed, can’t see much difference to last years Hummel shirts there. The fit is a bit off. I’ve gone for a large which is same as I had last year. I’ve got biggish arms, so may not be an issue for everyone but the sleeves are tight and the collar feels tight too, bit worried about stretching it when I take it off. It comes up quite long for me, I’d rather it was a little bit shorter but I don’t think the arms would fit if I’d gone medium. The fit is a bit like the bristol sport shirts from the pinstripe year and the white away shirt that had the old robin - they were both too long but too tight on the sleeves to go a smaller size.
  17. Bristol? I’m looking at London - though I looked at Friday or Saturday flying out to be fair
  18. I’ve applied but flights are already looking expensive so not hopeful I’ll make it out there to be honest
  19. The badge is different too, and where the collar meets the stripe. Would be interesting to know if it’s deliberate changes or not
  20. I was gonna say ? Thought this was dead when Stokes went
  21. Is this sarcasm? How can you not be enjoying this chase?
  22. I think “play acting” is harsh, I didn’t see a single dive with no contact like Spain did. there was a lot of cynical fouls, like the one that led to the goal. It was deliberate and disruptive, and it backfired on Spain as the lads handled themselves almost impeccably and didn’t allow their emotions to take over.
  23. It was a foul, Spain player touched the ball, Colwill kicked his foot. Soft, but I suppose it is what it is. Would have been so harsh on Colwill, especially after last years play off final. What a double save from Trafford, outstanding. 26 clean sheets last season for Bolton, he’s a hell of a talent.
