  1. I said a pleasant surprise… ? Breezing past lower league opposition Able to get a young lad on for experience Naismith returning from injury, and scoring successful night!
  2. I might be, won't know til tomorrow or Friday as depends on my game Saturday being on I'll drop a message when I know and see if you've still got it, if not sold already!
  3. was hoping to make this but won't know til the end of the week, looking like we might sell out our allocation then? I've been to Millwall a couple of times, never had any trouble - though I can see it's easily there if you wanted to look for it, especially as everyone piles onto the same trains afterwards
  4. I go predominantly away - in part because I live 3 hours from Ashton Gate, and often only able to make midweek / non-saturday games as I still play on a Saturday. Away atmospheres will always be better - it's a day out, away from the family, the kids, the responsibilities of life for many. Away games will always attract a different "type" of supporter too. I can't recall many grounds I've gone to where the home atmosphere is any good, except when they've scored / are winning or flying high in the league.
  5. Probably just a typo, like the one in your post.
  6. Jevons went on loan early then never returned
  7. Hartley didn't play that season, Noble - as talented as he was - was mostly sub appearences if I recall Strikers being "useful" is interesting too as I think that's where we struggled. We were very low scoring and our top scorer got 8 (though Adebola got 6 after arriving in Jan, and some important ones). The other 3 got 5,3 and 1 (Brooker obviously coming back from injury) We were a team stronger than it's parts, that's for sure. We had a fairly strong defence and we knew how to push to the last minute.
  8. Ridiculous behaviour. Why do players think they'll get away with this with VAR watching?
  9. Disappointed Scott isn’t playing, hopefully it is a knock. I’m resigned to him going but I’d hope we use him until that point.
  10. Always liked Kappa designs, but never like their "fitted" style shirts. Definitely doesn't suit me and I hate tight fitting clothes ?
  11. I went for playoffs, because I went with my heart over my head. Someone in the office asked me the other day how we'd do. I said if we keep Scott (big ask I know) then Play Offs could be in reach and should be the target If we lost Scott it'll depend on how we replace him or what we do with the money I'm expecting 10th or above to be honest, I don't think that's an unrealistic goal.
  12. Southampton's are my favourite I think there
  13. Rodriguez. Stamp wasn't it?
  14. The hyperbole always interests me, the original tweet says "the worst injury of all time" which is very likely wrong. Even in football, off the top of my head (no pun intended) Ryan Mason and Petr Cech's head injuries spring to mind. Possibly not even the worst leg break, depending on severity of the outcome. I'm sure many of us remember David Busst as being very nasty but Djibril Cisse's was awful too. And then on that note "most innocent", Cisse's probably comes under that too - they were running alongside each other if I recall.
  15. Fingers crossed Scott's the next... ?
  16. Not a chance that's delibarate
  17. I love the bloke and think we're so lucky to have him here. I wanted him to replace Johnson I think it's easy for outsiders (and some fellow fans) to look at league positions and think not much has changed, but the few games I went to last year were some of the best City games I've seen since the Playoff Season and the Cup run season. Even the games we lost (Norwich) or threw away late on (Blackpool) were entertaining games and I felt it was worth the money.
  18. Where have you seen he had a knock? He was just left out wasn't he? Odd decision, but he only had about 5 goals that season, he wasn't prime form Lita at that stage - still would have caused Brighton massive problems, didn't they have a really slow defence that day? Saw the tweet though and couldn't believe he was still playing. Southern League Prem at 38, fair play.
  19. Worst case just turn up a bit earlier and speak to someone. I’m sure it can be resolved for you.
  20. Well presumably the system will know of that tickets been activated regardless of method, otherwise what’s stopping the device being passed backwards and scanned again? Theres no reason on most access systems you can’t have more than one type of access key.
  21. This has passed with no reply or reaction… Anyone gonna ask, source? Or a wind up
