  1. We lost to Man City and our league season finished in disappointment? Sorry… just messing
  2. Especially to then suggest Joma which nearly every park team I’ve played for have worn because it’s cheap. (I realise they do pro teams as well) Anyway, looks like my guess was right - Hummel can’t even provide Matchday kit now so we’ve had to change ASAP. aa bit disappointed because I loved this years shirts and that home shirt looks a bit crap. I get the retro style but it literally looks like a shirt from the 80s in terms of style and fit. Much prefer the 17/18 version of retro, this looks like a score draw knock off IMO
  3. I've no idea, but I'd be disappointed if Bristol Sport kits weren't made in the UK?
  4. THere is potential for this to be true if Hummel haven't been able to provide the team a kit? Especially as the City one will likely be especially embroidered and with different sponsors (I don't know if this is done in house, 3rd party or by supplier - just throwing out ideas) That said I can't imagine we'd have nothing to wear - and we wouldn't be the only team affected by this if it was a Hummel issue. I'm sceptical but there seems to be 2/3 people suggesting this. Sounds like the change of supplier next year is probably solid info, but the change of shirt tomorrow / tuesday less solid
  5. I've had an interest in kits since a kid so it's always something I pay attention to, also still playing and purchasing kits for teams I also have an interest there - that said I've had no experience with an o'neills kit that I can remember
  6. Could it be that the club is struggling to get hold of kit themselves? I'm making a big assumption that teams don't just have one kit for the season that they wash every week... I'd assume they get new kit at least every few weeks if not every game in some clubs The problem is, larger companies won't do bespoke kits for us because it isn't worth the money to them - or it'll cost us a premium. The more bespoke you want to be, the lower down the quality chain you'll need to go. Hummel was a good balance of quality and design IMO. I bought several of the shirts as I like to collect them, and they were good quality material. This years home has been one of my favourite ever for City, I think because of the uniqueness (to us) of the white arms, cant see that returning next year
  7. The signs point to something being amiss here (disappearence of the sponsor from the website) but it's incredibly rare for a team to change shirt mid-season, I can't recall a time off the top of my head? Odd that it's taken that long for the news to break on here then
  8. Having it in the same competition means some bans will potentially never be served, that could also "permit" a red card. It's swings and roundabouts
  9. It's probably in part to stop them taking a yellow to miss an unimportant cup game and avoid missing a league game
  10. As someone who’s been kicked in the head in a game and lucky to still be here, I don’t think it’s necessary to ban overhead kicks. There’s always a risk in sport - it seems there’s even a risk in heading the ball - overhead kicks are very rare, we don’t try and stop tackling every time someone breaks a leg.
  11. We went 8 earlier this season and Holden had 9. In 18/19 we went 15 games with 9 wins in a row, then went 6 without a win ruining our play off chances ?
  12. If you'd offered me 4 points from Wigan and Norwich but results the other way round I'd have certainly took it
  13. I’m glad I took the plunge on 4 games Saturday now! I would have gone to 4 more games this season, though more likely away. it just means I might have to sacrifice one of Huddersfield or Luton away to save the money
  14. I never knew Jason Roberts played for us before joining the Gas! Can only see a City win tonight on our current form (not been able to say that for a while!) Jinxed it now, drab 0-1 incoming
  15. Did it really? I don't doubt you, just find it hard to believe
  16. I'd be disappointed if it was only 20k including Man City That means we've only sold just over 16k home tickets. With somewhere between 13-16k STs that seems very low Albeit it does say "more than" 20k. Seems far more likely that the more than 20k figure relates to home tickets

    23-24 season

Everton for me as I want to go to Goodison Its about time Wolves bubble burst and Bournemouth.
  18. Does a stadium count as a public place or private land?
  19. Does 16k include half ST purchases?
  20. I think there will be quite a lot, would be interesting if the club ever released the data on membership sales after the draw took place
  21. Why is it a dive? It’s clever play he’s got himself in front which he’s entitled to do and the defender has clipped him. You could argue it’s soft, though I think it’s still a pen, but it’s not a dive.
  22. That holding there seemed really soft, he was never making that? Inteligent play from KC to stop short of the TD and run the clock down
  23. Our company have planned a “winter” get together in March so we’re going to this. Seen good things so I’m looking forward to it
