No chance of play offs (yet)
Top 10 finish would be the very best to hope for this season.
Besides, there's an FA Cup up for grabs isn't there??....

I wish him a long and happy retirement.
Never keen on his style of football, but the board must have known this when they appointed him. So, surely some significant culpability would lie with them? Just saying, not looking for a squabble.

Actually he or it is actually correct. They can loose a changing room if it flies off in the wind.
To clarify, I was drawing attention more towards the "portakabin" claim being a positive aspect of their facilities..But point taken nevertheless dear Swede.

Best to take things game by game for a good while yet, but always nice to see us win away, them lose at home on the same day. Makes for a pleasant week all round! COYR

it was better when the players ran out of the portakabins when the cricket stand was being built -

Been saying it for months Dave. He's a dinosaur.
We were 2-0 up today and then Max made that howler. If Pearson was any good those sorts of errors would be ironed out by now.
Now 's the time.

Welcome to Bristol City Harry!!

Welcome to Ashton Gate Anis!!

It would be very acceptable to be playing Man City and clubs of similar stature every week. Instead, sadly, these kind of fixtures only occur once in a blue moon.

People are getting ahead of themselves. An excellent month for him so far, I think we underestimate just how easy Birmingham made it for him when he pushed forward. Needs to add consistency to elements of his game, especially his decision making and passing.
Nige alluded to this in his post-match interview. He's a good footballer, but not yet the finished article.

Oh Nige........

He's so much more than a far post tap in merchant. But he's not fantastic. That's why he plies his trade at BCFC.
Played well yesterday, as did the team as a whole. Valuable three points gained. Lots more to do.
Next.

Great player who loved the game, and it would seem, anyone else he came into contact with who loved the game.
RIP Luca.

I hereby claim the "late to the party again" award.

Well done lads. Good effort. Valuable point.

Not too shabby that. Ended the half strongly.

Wishing all my City brothers and sisters a very Happy New Year!!

Whilst I'm disappointed that we haven't yet reached the Premier League over what feels like an eternity since SL took the reins, and that the focus on success for the football club has become the much broader project that is Bristol Sport, I dread to think where we might be without the considerable investment that SL has made in our club.
What most disappoints me at the moment though, is the length of my previous sentence. Shocker.

I‘ve only seen the highlights, but I’m happy with a point and clean sheet, even though it looks like we could have got the win had Weimann’s chance gone in (good to see him in a scoring position, though). I’m taking anything we can get at the moment.
The thing is though Offside, it wasn't an isolated incident was it? Game after game, week in week out, we're seeing chances being blocked, saved, hitting the woodwork and even missing the target completely. Yet some people just don't want to see what the common factor is.
You can't blame the players every time.
With the right leadership, team selection, tactics and coaching, a lot more of those chances could have gone in and we wouldn't be in the position we are.
Or something like that.....

Andi could have won it for us, great chance.
You have to put the blame for this at Pearson's door. He's been in charge long enough now for strikers not to be missing the target like that.

Well, if you must.......just call him Dowsey. He hates it.

We need to see Wilson back fully fit and given a decent run of games, but I do think that he has the ability to develop into a very good player for us. I'm sure Nige will have some ideas about that might happen.
