Shocking and inexcusable behavior. Just beggars belief.....

You can't fault the guy on experience, for sure.
Mr Warnock to follow??............
-
Well, I do remember him being a popular choice on here. Not for me though.

I, like Dave, have been a long term supporter of Nige, and although joy is particularly thin on the ground at the moment, I'm not quite ready yet to join the "Pearson out" lobby.
As to an admission of being wrong, well I'm quite comfortable with that as I'm certain Dave is.
It seems to me that the rather more childish posters on here are often keen to get some sort of apology from anyone, for anything, as being right is being clever, and therefore helps to reinforce a fragile ego.
Let them eat cake I say Dave, no need for you to step down.

We'll survive and they won't be going anywhere. That shall be the order of things.

I'm more than happy to admit that I know nothing about what goes on behind closed doors at Ashton Gate. But I guess you all realised that anyway....

Is it bad that I far more enjoy the social aspect of Matchday (I.e. meet up in pub beforehand, half time pasty, post game pub pit stop) than the actual football on offer?
Not at all Jim. I'm sure most of us feel the same way.

Absolutely. The club needs an injection of enthusiasm and drive.
Some match day presence and connection with supporters would go a long way too. We look like a club that's just functioning and nothing more. We need to look like a club that's functioning and means business.
The enthusiasm and drive for the "business" is there, I'm certain, Kingswood. Trouble is, the business concerned is Bristol Sport, not Bristol City Football Club.

Could someone answer a question that's been on my mind for a while please?
Even if we had new owners, am I right in saying we couldn't spend anything anyway, regardless of intent, due to financial fair play constraints?
Is it just fresh ideas we would be getting?
I think that DaveFevs or Mr Pops are your best bets to explain in detail, but yes, I do think that financial rules, coupled with a disastrous player recruitment policy in recent years are probably key factors.

It's been a struggle being a City fan for a long time now. I expect it to continue for some time into the future as well. Unless that is, the financial rules change AND SL decides to splash a lot of cash on players. Highly unlikely on either count I'd say, never mind both.

Name them.
Most likely a consortium based in the financial world I'd say. Difficult to name the exact individuals of course, but that would be my guess.

Manager doesn't matter.
Steve Lansdown is to blame and thongs won't change until he finally admits that and sells the club.
I agree. Not changing my smalls until he sells.

Where are all the Pearson lovers gone? Quick enough to call us out when we win! The bloke is taking us out of this division and it ain't up!
Many of us are still here and not going anywhere. And, at least we're not French!

Well that was absolute pants.

I'll take the point rather than bemoan the fact that it could well have been all three on the day. The application of the players was much more like it today. Well done lads.

RIP fellow Red, fly high. My condolences to those dear to him.

No. Newcastle United are, all things considered.
Admittedly with their new owners, those fortunes might change somewhat.

Missing "a new owner" ??.....

Can’t back nige anymore if we lose sat he’s got to go . He’s had long enough to sort it out I don’t have faith in him keeping us up
Any suggestions Lakeside? Is there a particular name or type of manager you'd like to see? What would She/he/everything in between, need to bring to effect change?
The Lansdowns are a pox on our club

That's a bit harsh.
Although I remain annoyed that the initial goal of Premier League Football for Bristol City FC, has morphed into the much more generic Bristol Sport, as being SL's legacy.
I don't think many of us saw that coming, and I do feel let down to be honest.
Not my money to spend though, as some sage will doubtless point out.
