I don't think that the play-offs were ever a realistic target for us this season were they?

I'd like to see us finish mid-table this season and would hope that (injuries and transfers permitting) we'd be targeting top 10 next season, and with fair winds possibly a bit more?

Fair enough, but they have to give more today, not least because it's a severnside derby. Very poor and not acceptable.

This exactly. The gift that keeps giving. Even their official media can't disguise the rabid envy that dominates their persona. A club with absolutely nothing to offer Bristol. Truly the skid mark in Bristol's pants.  

Other than the display given by Mr Marriner (predictable but nevertheless disappointing), the evening was  - aside from the result of course - a big win for our beloved City. The players did us and them proud, the game was fluid and mostly good natured, and of course, the national exposure for certain players and the club as a whole is great.

Our players were a credit to themselves  - it really is quite staggering what they were up against in terms of value and talent.

Surely be belongs in the Downsy League?
