It's amazing all these people who now say they were there when we were in div 4, how did you all fit in the stadium

Well I took the plunge as a Bristol city supporter and I’m still proud to be a Bristol city supporter in a very competitive league , probably in the top 6 in Europe,This division is a hard one to compete in due to parachute payments of yo yo teams like Burnley’s and sheff Utds if you look at league table I’m not sure if any of the btm 11 teams are still in receipt of these payments so there’s an excuse for league positions but he ho what else does one do but become depressed with their team but we live in hope and don’t forget shopping with her in doors or leave home at 11 have a few beers and shout at the red shirts
I think we are all proud to support city, it's the embarrassment of how the club is rancid and managed that we are opposed to.
I won't be renewing for this exact reason, I will still support from afar and go to more away games.
I won't be going shopping though, it's not the only option and if it's your only alternative you must have a pretty mundane life (or a bossy Mrs)

Dont know what kind of world you live in; poor win ratio, leaves the club after 30 months without the ability to score goals, during his best season with W-S-M up front (none of whom he recruited) he coached us to concede 77 goals - that is seventy seven.
Fans might sing; "you stole a wage, you stole a wage"
The clown we have at the moment is stealing a wage

Well the clowns running us ain't helping the team!

2 long time fans here won't be renewing, just had a gutsfull and what was an enjoyable day out just isn't anymore. Although a regular season ticket holder haven't bought anything in the stadium for 2 years!

People need to stop listening to this shit; a podcast should represent the fans and not be butt slurping to ensure they get guests from the club.
Embarrassing that they are prepared to rose-tint a very gloomy time in our history.
They have the chance to be a real voice and make a mark in our history but are clearly
Wont happen mate
Both of them on that pod are so far up lansdown ass they can see what he had for breakfast! I don't listen to it anymore, it's beyond help!

It’s sad but in some ways I prefer a low grade racing night out on the flat up bath. Cheap as chips, decent view, can get a decent bet on ok, nice surroundings, not ripped off, they make an effort and put bands etc on.
Me and the Mrs have done loads of smaller tracks over the last year, plumpton, Stratford, Warwick, wincanton, Exeter and ffos lad, been superb days out at reasonable cost even when going corporate!

Matt from 3 peeps called our fans out on voicing their displeasure on RB after the match.
He is a happy clapper who is in bed with the club and it's owners.
Bloke is a joke, that's why radio Bristol keep phoning him for comment

Cost of living.
Standard of racing.
Ridiculous cost of food and drink.
Ticket prices.
Transport.
I'd add stupid rules and regs while there, one in one out etc, no beer outside the tents!

Summed up nicely by Andy Johnson.
Do they know what they are doing!

What an embarrassing goal to concede

Cheltenham is certainly not what it was, crowds down and uncompetitive racing
I have my own ideas/reasons for the dwindling crowds, anybody else have any opinions?

I was party to a conversation with the largest medical insurance company in the US last week who I’m told are in advanced stages for building a large office site near Long Ashton. This company already has a large presence in Bristol and money is no object to get the development they require - I dont want to name the company but part of their development is to have their own rail line & station/platform by the site. This will have a rail link to Bristol Airport also.
obviously funding will not be an issue for this company but it will be interesting to see how planners receive this in the planning stages, how many dog walkers are against it and where AG and the whole expansion of the area is integrated with so much private investment
I wonder if this US company fancy buying a football club as well
The office development is planned for completion by 2028/29
This is Bristol. It won't happen

Imagine being knocked over by a Bus that was totally not your fault, not being able to work because of it (or only being able to work at a severely reduced wage) and being told by the club to go and do one you scrounging git.........
Imagine the compo you would get!

Defo gonna renew - not happy about the current set up, boring football, or direction the club is going in, but I talked it through with my kid (he is not happy with those things either) - but it is quality time me and him have before, sometimes during, and after the game - which neither of us want to lose.
Just have quality time with him and skip the football. That's just trying to justify getting one

I don't think he did much wrong . They set up with almost 2 left wingers and there was so much space to exploit it was ridiculous .
One back, very good from Solanke .
I don't think he did much right either!

I'm leaning towards not renewing for the first time in a long long time. I don't really enjoy the non sat 3pm kick offs so probs not worth it. I also don't want to pander to the bellends running our once great club!

I think Arsenal are a poor comparison if the aim is to point out flaws in the club’s approach.
They appointed an ex player as Technical Director and then got rid of an experienced manager who had done well elsewhere to replace him with someone with coaching qualifications and back room experience but without comparable first team managerial experience. The fans did not take immediately but ultimately he won them over.
Arsenal may well be Mario to our Wario but ultimately they are an example our board and technical director could point to and say justifies their decision making and belief that Manning will prove us all wrong.
I don’t agree with that but trying to use Arsenal as evidence of our board’s fallacies feels like a mistake as they could just as easily be used to justify the board’s thinking.
The point I was trying to make (maybe not very well) was how togetherness plays a part
We had it and didn't need to destroy it and now try and develop it again.
I only mentioned the game last night as it seemed apt that Ferdinand made a big deal about it
1 hour ago, Tim Monaghan said:I was about to write exactly the same thing, so thanks for saving me 5 minutes. The fans wanted him out after the first season, but after being given time to implement his way of playing etc….. You know the rest.
Missing the actual point (again)

I really hope the 3 Stooges watched tonight. Not the game but Rio Ferdinand at the end. Talking about a togetherness between club, players and fans at Arsenal and how you can never underestimate the collective force it is. He's never known it before but it's now noticeable how together everyone is.
Oh what could have been, I don't mean champions league
What have you done? Why?

Why shouldn't you say it, the majority of city fans have zero interest in the woman's team, and yes, that includes me. I just turn off if they start discussing them!
