Everything I heard tells me he is reading this forum at length. Almost aimed some comments as direct responses.
After the defeat on Saturday, one of the inner circle was browsing. Fair play for using their account rather than hiding I guess.

Stupid question, but are you logged in?

Quite nasty and ridiculous approach by Bcc. We live equidistant between Bath and Bristol. The Bus Gate system designed to rip off the motorist and make travel difficult means that we will no longer spend our money in Bristol. The soulless shopping centres and miserable environment combined with its illogical approach to road systems is a deathknell for its commercial and trading centre. The stupid Cumberland Road isolation of Spike island and the confused traffic routes around Baldwin street are key examples of planning by dead heads.
As Bristol has got harder to get to and park in, the less I’ve visited.
I used to work in Redland and would easily put a few hundred into the local economy a month, but traffic got progressively worse. So I got a job elsewhere.
I’d rather go out locally or into Bath now - equally a ball ache for traffic, but it’s station is an actually continently placed.

I avoid that cess pit. However, some of the City stuff on Facebook (equally a cess pit) is ******* bonkers.,

Is that Manning and Hogg and the bar with their back to him?
No doubt asking for tap water.

As mentioned, Charlton would be a very good bet though like Reading, carrying a fair amount of liability? But by that token, few clubs probably are without a significant debt.

I thought he looked miles away when he’s played - which is fine, he’s a youngster.
So a loan move to play more mens football is good, however I don’t think the ways he’s been thrown in, and then dropped like a hot potato wont be great for his mindset. Especially as Medube looks like no obvious improvement.

I’ve got City 16th on 53 points.
Leicester champs, Ipswich a surprising 2nd.
Wednesday, QPR and Rotherham down.

Then this recreates problems we’ve had in the past, players brought in to play a certain manager’s way on lengthy contracts become spare parts should we decide that this head coach is better with a PowerPoint than being tactically astute and we go down a different route - again…
I’ve seen sparks of something and at times we’ve played well, but you’ve got to look at the trend, and the trend is not great.
His post match yesterday was enough for me, when you are criticising the players and openly questioning whether they can learn, when he clearly made yet more selection errors and then just threw on anyone on the bench that could kick a ball in the 2nd half almost as an American Football Hail Mary, but failed to accept any responsibility tells me all I need to know. He might be a great coach at junior and U21 level where he would not be questioned, but at this level you are questioned regularly and he appears to have no answer or idea other to churn out buzzwords or now throw others under the bus. This experiment has not worked and best to end it before more longer term damage is done
But we know how this is going to play out. Theres a certain inevitability so might as well embrace it.

I want to go all in. Back him heavily in the summer, let’s see how this plays out.
NOT another flip flop please. Let’s see this direction through.

Starting not to like this guy.
I like this group of players, they generally seemed to have grit and determination- he’s the fly in the ointment here.

The snake departing and someone credible replacing him might actually placate me.
And by someone credible, no Jon, not another friend of the family.

Anybody else think that the players don't buy into Manning?
Well he seems to have broken Vyner, so possibly ?

Those of us blinded by the success of the club sense what is going to happen.
The owners will stand by Manning , spending money on the players he wants in the summer.
He will have a full preseason to work with them followed by more of the same old shite that we get served up season after season and we will change coach before Christmas probably bringing in Naismith as the new head coach. Rinse and repeat.
That seems horribly plausible.

The refreshing answer would be, Brian started 2 players that were clearly unfit, and I’m beginning to think Brian is an interfering snake…

Today surely has to be a better performance from City than in the QPR game, where we got so many basics wrong.
I can’t imagine two performances that bad on the spin.

All good but the reason they closed the section was because of extreme violence; ie glass bottles, flares and chairs being thrown at away fans constantly.

The size of the Valley back in the day astounds me. I think it was the biggest terrace in Europe at one time.

I hope it’s soon, I could use a chuckle. The child haters will be irate if the prices stay the same for kids while any rise won’t be well received.
I just hope we don’t have to wait until the end of the sales window to switch seats, I’ll chuck money at the club the moment I can escape the hell of the upper lansdown.

I think the thing with Rovers is they have a massive inferiority complex about us. We have been in a higher division for 23 years, with better facilities and almost 3 x times their crowds.
As such they constantly try to drag out some element of individually that potentially makes them relevant to the City of Bristol. Hence why on any given statistic they don't rate themselves in relation to the other clubs in L1, it has to be against us; as if we are a club that they should be rating themselves against ( i think our turnover is almost 500% more than them year on year alone).
It's almost like that younger brother that is somewhat in awe of his older sibling and feels that he has to prove himself all of the time. It's getting really really pathetic now isn't it? "Our passion, is bigger than your passion etc etc", "people like us more than you blah blah blah". Even when their new manager took over, it was "We have the potential to be the biggest club in the city".. err ok?
Everytime they get taken over, their only hope is not to get up a division or get into the Premier league, it's to be bigger and better than us. I wish they would realise now that the vast majority of us consider them completely irrelevant to our future hopes and aspirations as a football club.
I only delight in their constant ability to completely cluster every decision/plan that they have. Leading to them having a non-league stadium and 14 OOC or loanees going at the end of the season and having to start the whole process over again.
Maybe they’ll go through a goth phase and come out normal on the other side?

It seems to vary by game (and presumably expected attendance) is the simple answer.
Normally appears on the club website a couple of days before the game but maybe Jerry could answer in advance (I'd suggest Twitter/X).

Every school seems to have them now.
My assumption is that most grass roots clubs will look to develop facilities like this as a way of raising income (potentially). This has two obvious flaws in that 1) it leaves them at risk of chancers looking to use the club as a vehicle to make money and 2) it probably needs grass pitches to be sold off to raise the funds.
