Reminds me a lot of Steve Jones, without the tan.

As others have said, it's the new tv deal that concerns me
theyve all taken the money and absolutely shafted the fans , can't believe more hasn't been made of it tbh but I also think most people haven't a clue as to the disruption it will cause next season and beyond
They should absolutely give the facts when selling season tickets. What % of games will be on a Saturday at 3pm (in fairness, I don’t include games moved by the police in that ask)

Not a factor for me. That new tv deal…yeah that worries me.

And so will Lansdown until we are in the relegation zone going into Christmas and he will be forced to make a change. There is nothing in Manning’s CV to suggest he is going to be a success at this level sticking slavishly to the “Guardiola way circa 2018”.
Well they took the punt and will have to underwrite the losses if it goes badly. I would imagine season ticket renewals will be a very good indicator if this is a costly decision or not.

I wish I had your optimism because it clearly isn’t shared by at least 90% of the supporters. Manning is ****ing clueless and you don’t need a comparison with the previous manager to see that. Holden was equally terrible but at least to start with the football was better than the steaming pile of turd Manning is serving up on a regular basis!
Let’s see how it goes. I still chuckle at SL’s self congratulatory backslapping on Holden when he’d had a decent start, and in a similar vein I won’t completely write off Manning yet. It’s still to early.
Now, I’m relatively comfortable with my expectations here (they’re low) - and I also suspect the outcome of the Manning period won’t be a successful one. There’s no guarantees though, it might work out and I’ll hold onto that until Nov/Dec.

If you think we're going to be making any big signings or any signings that will suddenly make us competitive I would suggest becoming prepared for disappointment.
We'll probably bring in a few players he wants but it won't change anything as this level is far too competitive and the level of player required for Mannings set up is too expensive for us so we'll get the watered down version of what he wants. We'll also more than likely lose Conway and Pring, King will be gone and then maybe another one or two and we'll have to start another rebuild which will fail under Manning, then he'll be sacked and the board will brush under the mat how he's their man and how they're to blame before appointing another "up and coming" manager who will probably sold down the river with promises too.
No, you’re missing a step or two in the Bristol City manager merry go round. Next appointment will be internal, before a grizzled old veteran comes in.

League one
I would find that absolutely hysterical in all honesty.
But I want a tilt at the top end and realistically the goons that operate this club will open the purse strings to double down on the mood hoover. This is the best route we’ve got to having a go in the short term.

Which ones?
They’ll say Birmingham.
Which funnily enough a lot of new accounts/low post accounts mention. Almost like a set of talking points were circulated.

Some of you should question your suitability in calling yourselves City supporters.
That genuinely sounds like the sort of thing an 8 year old would come out with.

Terrible game of football but that’s survival all but guaranteed, so I’ll happily take that.

I put it on mute and decided to do something more entertaining - review a company's share capital.
Have we been better? Presumably the goal was a fluke.
No, should have scored shortly before. Certainly not against the run of play in the proceeding few minutes.

Was about to post “this is so much better” and we score.
Well done lads for turning it round.

Grassroots for me and mine. I really want to know how many Sunday games the new tv deal will potentially mean.

Woke my teenage daughter up so she can ready for her game. Between the outraged grunts I heard a “I dont want to go”.
Luckily I’ve had an ace card to play - “if we don’t go, that means we go to City”…
Never seen her get ready for football so quickly

Matt Heywood, Grant Smith, Dave Partridge, Tony ******* Dinning, Jamie Smith, Bridges, Mark Goodfellow, Joe Keith, I notice you don’t mention any of them?
As has been said took over a side that made the playoffs two years running under Wilson & didn’t.
The next season saw us hammered 7-1 by Swansea, totally out of his depth.
Goodfellow was under Wilson?

There are only a very small minority “accepting” of our current situation. Sid’s recent comments show that he doesn’t give a **** what you or I think. Apparently we were all “happy” after Southampton. Also by feeding the bloke on FBC we are literally hearing what the club think via him. They are blasé about the views of the fanbase, 100%.
Blasé about fans views?
“it’s my club” Owner
On fans ”you have to block out the noise” chairman
**agitated northern grunting noises** “teknikal” director
They couldn’t care less what the peasantry think. I’ll accept that level of arrogance from one of the 3.

Kids football tomorrow so I’ll miss this. I suspect I’ll be missing a home win. Played poorly for 3 defeats, looked much better Tuesday and I fully expect them to take that into tomorrow and come away with 3 points.

It’s almost like when you put people in a position that they’re woefully unqualified for, they do daft things.
