    No and no

Can honestly say it's a word I never use

Again how is this relevant to the discussion about people renewing their season tickets?

It’s not, but I’d like to judge Toppers iq level. I know you as a person, so you’re alright.

  3. I still expect tickets to sell well, certainly by historical standards.  There’s bound to be a drop regardless of what’s been going on, due to the change to the price structure and the reduction in Saturday matches (though I think that’s probably a lesser factor).

The Bristol City app is worse though

I think that app lasted on my phone about 10 mins, dreadful. So yeah, more focus doesn't always mean a better product.

I'm not particularly interested. However, if this is your way of examining whether SL is still active behind the scenes, or not, then you'd be better of including the successes too. That would provide better evidence, be more objective, and in my opinion be more interesting.

There is indeed balance to the argument. I don't think anyone can run a football club for 2 decades without delivering anything of note - Fans would have them out undoubtedly.

    • Grown the fan base significantly
    • Improved Ashton Gate significantly
    • Grown the youth set up to consistently deliver quality
    • Grown the profile of the club
    • Avoided the worst of the ITV Digital collapse
    • Created a training facility worthy of its name
    • 2 promotions, 2 cup wins, a league cup semi final

That is not an exhaustive list, I'm sure there's other points worthy of inclusion.

    Actually it’s bollocks.

Robins was 33 when he was on loan to us, Rotherham tried to get us to pay an increased fee & when we refused they recalled him.

After his time with us he only scored 4 more goals in his whole playing career.

I know there would have been loads saying at the time (probably you) why did we sign a player on the way down as a result.

I really can’t believe we are debating a player we didn’t sign in 2003 again, FFS.

Not sure it really needs this. Its player who did well on loan we didn’t sign 20 years ago, I was just trying to add some context.

    Also, Probably me? Get ******

Where has this Mark Robins nonsense suddenly sprung up from?

It’s valid to a degree.  He did have a good loan spell and we could have signed him, but didn’t.

I am very concerned about the recent trend in football to limit season ticket sales in favour of members/potd fans.

Different scenarios I guess, but in Citys case, they need to do something - Tickets are virtually worthless for league games because there's so many floating around. What's doubly concerning, judging by the empty seats people cant even give them away.

How much does this one cost 150 quid?

I'm done with football shirts, prob because of my age, but the pricing is a rip off especially when most are made in a sweatshop,

That aside it looks fine and I don't get those moaning at the blue away kit, the blue one from the 90s is one of my fav shirts

£14 if you buy it from source 👀

  11. Is someone internal really briefing against him, or is this assumption? Zero class if the former.

At this moment in time I could easily say he has 8 games to save his job, and that wouldn’t need someone feeding me titbits…it’s bloody obvious.

I just don't get the sense anyone has enough control to rectify or rein in anyone. Maybe I'm wrong but the situation looks to me from the outside like there are three or four people who've sort of got control of various bits of the club but nobody is fully sure who is in charge of what.

I started to post similar but yeah this - I’d also throw in the petty fiefdoms created across Bristol Sport.

SL the Duke of Normandy Gurnsey, leaving his English lands in the hands of his vassals, only to reappear when the peasants threaten revolt - rather than a harrowing of the north, we get a petulant budget cut and some stroppy soundbites.
