Meh, shame no one filmed Liam in the central library after the Southampton win.
Im told it was wild, he even allowed himself to browse the fiction aisles

Soooooo I meant to dip in and out of this over the season but with everything City related I forgot…
Anyone have any highlights so far this season? I see cup finals are now being played, any trophies for the bedroom trophy shelf?
Turns out the full sized goals weren’t the disaster my oldest thought they’d be. Downside is that they don’t seem to want to play any more - not sure how to handle it. It’s been a step up in a league that’s full of amazingly talented players, so was always going to be up against.
Amazing natural ability which would be a shame to waste, but short of forcing them I’m not sure what I can do?
Youngest has now finished the last 7 a side season they’ll play in. That can’t come soon enough as they’ve all outgrown those pitches.
One thing I would point out is that I’ve seen zero poor behaviour on the touchlines this season - is this an outlier?

No different to the other ‘fools’ that think the people above Manning would get it right next time!!!
Be careful what you wish for though. /s

Personally think we’ll lose the two Easter games but then finish strongly.
Put me down for a 15 point return from that lot.

Give it to Tinnion so I can boo the *** for 90 minutes while he has flashbacks to how comfy the dug out is at Swansea.

Probably should have kept his figurative mouth shut imo. He knew exactly what he’s doing.
But hey, we freed up the wages to sign Mannings dressing room nark and a lad so shite he could get a game in Belgium.

I couldn’t disagree more.
A different head-coach / manager is capable of galvanising this group. The right one can operate without incompetence above him.
Until he’s undermined by unhelpful comments publicly from the barely functional chairman, or secretly by the snake to his hierarchy.
No manager is onto a winner when they have that shit show above them.

About a few days before matchday on their website - the article would usually begin with "Travel Information.."
This was the one that was done three days before the West Ham game in January
https://www.bcfc.co.uk/city-women-news/travel-information-bristol-city-women-vs-west-ham-united-women/
Matchday bus services are usually run if the club can justify them & if there is a high attendance to do so.
There were no matchday bus services for the Brighton game, and that had an attendance of 3468 (lowest for a City Women home league game at Ashton Gate this season).
Looking at the Bristol Sport ticketing website, block S18 is open for the next home game with Spurs (and that block usually isn't).
Overall, keep an eye out on the BCFC website (and social media) for updatesCheers mate, appreciate it

The bed wetters need to calm down imo. Was always going to take time to transition from a counter attacking team to one that has control so it's not really a surprise we've had a downturn. Manning has had next to no time on the grass to implement his coaching so has prioritised out of possession work which has largely been good.
let's give him a pre season and a transfer window to try and get a few players that can handle the ball then see what he can do-if we haven't shown a tangible improvement by October then I agree he would need to go.
Stick some new sheets on and calm down!
Out of interest what do you call tangible improvement?
I’ve lumped on to December and I’ll be honest I haven’t really considered what I’d call acceptable at this point. Being entertained I guess, which is subjective.

I don't know who's in more pain; me after watching this, or my partner who is currently in labour.
Good luck to all of you!

Kin’ell, sounds worse written!
Yeah. That is the words of someone who knows they’re in jeopardy.
Going by Tinnion trying to justify his position in the week, I wonder if big Steve has dropped a grenade.

I said the same last month. Likes of Portsmouth, Derby and Bolton will be back in the PL before we even get there.
The ultimate irony if 3 of the main clubs the “be careful what you wish for” crowd use as examples get back into the prem.

You’re making it very hard for me Liam.

Only thing more boring than watching us play is the ‘oh we’ve been worse before’ or mentioning clubs that are currently doing worse than us.
It’s the lack of critical thinking that normally goes hand in hand with it.
“things have been worse” implys that this is fine.

Anyone have an idea when they usually announce if the P&R is running for matches?

Got a good feeling about today.
Stung by criticism of playing styles, the January transfer window (again) and performance, the Club will ‘unleash the beast’ today and start Twine, that bloke from Belgium, Anis and Harry, launching a blitzkrieg on the West Brom defence.
4-1 City, with ‘West Brom’ becoming the new ‘Southampton’ in Club speak.
Go Reds.
Thing is, you can’t rule it out. There’s been some excellent results amongst the utter dross.
Fingers crossed for today.

Sky reporting a Yank consortium are close to buying them. Which makes the timing of flogging the training ground very suspect.
Given that they were the ultimate plastic club on their rise, I wonder what they’ll be like in league 2.

Agreed. They should have players calling those who don't renew; a personal touch would go a long, long way.
They used to?
Which I find myself saying a lot lately.
They used to have decent & well priced food and drink
The rewards scheme used to be good
The stewards used to know what they were doing

We get a few lines from the Bristol Sport not Bristol City CEO to accompany the price increases! Shocking communication again.
Well that’s probably wise in all fairness. Big Jon announcing this would be putting fuel on the fire

Not my bag these days, but between 2001 and 2011 when it was, I can think of at least 4 fan led movements to improve the atmosphere on a matchday. 3 of those were actively sabotaged by the club.
The one that did take off worked well (although bizarrely opposed by the then chairman of the supports club) .
So I don’t think we necessarily have a fan problem when it comes to atmosphere…the current configuration and utilisation of seats makes getting something going and then growing difficult, if not impossible.

Indeed, there was at least the feeling of an upward momentum, togetherness and identity. Was it rough getting there? Yeah, was the improvement rapid enough? 50/50 on that.
It did feel like the pieces were in place, the hard yards completed and then....
