When I was accepted for a job at my last company in China, it came up in the interview that I was from Bristol and a football fan.. The guy mentioned that there was also a guy from Bristol in the office who supported a team but couldnt remember which one. Thus there was a nervous wait to see who he was... Fortunately he turned out to be a red. Could you imagine being stuck in an office thousands of kilometers from home with a saghead?

What's the point of being Glorious Leader if you can't execute him by AA gun.

Get your act together Kim, your despot game is weak!

Until he got a silly yellow card!

Indeed, but I'll take that in a cup game over a league game everyday.

I think there's some positives to take from tonight, but key players being injured really isn't helping. The fact that they look lost without Henson is a worry, as although he is a really quality player, he's made of glass.

Beat Sale on Sunday week and things will look much better.

    Be honest lads.

I know you love Bert, but is it a good idea to spend an hour of your life composing that latest pile of over-wordy nonsense? What does any of the implied irony or sarcasm actually mean except that he hates Bristol Rovers then and now?

If any of it was worth writing, or had some humour, I might laugh sardonically, but sadly I am not looking forward to part 2.

    Can you ban him?

    Bert is good value.

We're a broad church and all sad sags are welcome, but shit low end banter doesn't go down well.

  4. I love this thread, not only does it provide good humour, it's a great place for bitter tantrums off the odd fewer whose sausage fingers aren't yet too fat to type.

So hello to all the "guests" raging at this thread at all hours of the day, please sign up and tell us how your time is coming. Again.

Makes sense, many students when they finish UNI stay in the city and if they have any interest in the game will look to go to a few games. Even if they attract only 50 people across the whole of UWE each year 50 / 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 / 350 ---- these things then tend to blow into larger movements/numbers at which point is just a thing UWE/Rovers where you/friends students/ ex students are Rovers supporters...

I would think it's the kind of thing our club would look to do as well.

    They have.  It doesn't work.

Still a bigger crowd than Bath and Exeter got this weekend?

I agree it seems a bit on the low side but clearly there's some big crowds to come over the next few months.

I'll probably try and get to the Exeter game this month.

It was and Wasps only got 13k, which surprised me as I thought they were up around the 17k figure.

Give I a shout if you want a pint early doors for Exeter.

Amazing that more people turned out for the play off final than the first league fixture in the Prem

I guess we are going to get our "free" ticket for the rugby earlier than planned in the hope that some of us go back again

I'm guessing that was Senna as I believe Daz was playing at the ground yesterday - yeah he is VERY talented

I expect a great many saw the price and decided there are better things to do.  On the first half display I share that view :(
