Why so bad out of interest?

It's like a non league venue yet more expensive than Wembley. £6 for a burger, or a bargain £8.50 is you want chips. They're doing the same £1 plastic glass con as Bristol rugby too.

I've been at every Bristol Derby since 89 so I understand THE rivalry from back then.... Sadly it's dead and buried under 16 years of nothingness... Rovers are about as much rivals as Oxford and Plymouth A..

We are light years ahead in infrastructure and finances so to call them ligitamate rivals is just plain ******* stupid..

the he only Rival is the fear that has always existed, the fear of playing them again on a level playing field, personally I feel they've more chance o being relegated than promoted from league 1..

If you think it's dead and buried you obviously don't live or work in Bristol.

I'm not in to getting carried away like some of our fans have.

Definitely small steps for us, but there at least seems to be a better feeling around the club.

If we ever build a new stadium be it 21,000, 26,000 or 35,000 at UWE, if something actually starts to happen I think it will encourage more people to come back or start supporting Rovers.

I don't pretend we would fill it or even get better crowds than yourselves if you were doing well, but I think the stadium issue is the one thing that has eroded away Gasheads more than any other or I should say the failure to produce on despite many plans.

A larger stadium than we needed has helped City double its season ticket holders in a generation. I believe at one time only Nottingham Forest had a higher proportion of under 16 season ticket holders than us. It's paid dividends.

Ive no doubt that's exactly the sort of activity Rovers would engage in too.

Never put a message on here before. But can the people in charge of this web page please delete these pages. If you want to write about rovers go on to there site. Not interested in anything the rovers do.

I'd rather they deleted your account. No time for wierdos who want to tell others what to think, presumably because they feel their point of view is somehow more valid.

Our place is historically one League below you, and it looks good for now. Love him or mock him, our manager seems to be doing a great job. Could it be three promotions in a row? Too early to guess, but we're on the up at last.

I'll mock him but then "Seems to be" is wrong. He IS doing a great job.

My only concerns if I was a sag:

    1) Will a bigger club take the manager next year

    2) How much will we get for Taylor

    3) What will our budget be for league one

    4) Apart from the stadium, what are the plans for the youth, as while city are cat 2 anyone worthwhile can be poached untill parity is established.

    **edit** I missed

    5)  they 'gurt teds

Sorry to disappoint, but the rover's stadium is as good as built.   Owners value? -  its the family and not Wael.  I guess end of season transfers will answer that question.  If our biggest signing is for 10k feel free to laugh.

Take this as you want, I'm hearing a distinct change of language lately. When Wally took over I was told "UWE will happen, met them today blah blah blah" but now I hear a more tentative "it will probably happen".

UWE have got so fed up they've had informal meetings with an organisation associated with a rather large summer sport, who would be interested in UWEs original plan of 5k.

Interesting conversation with someone who claims to be ITK at Rovers. The new owners beleive they have been fooled by the previous owner and there is no value in the deal. There is nothing tangible on the new ground negotiations and they may take action to recover some of their money. This may be rumour, or in the weeks / months to come you may say "Pongo told us first"

If you ask for my sauce all I can say is red sauce on a sausage sandwich and brown sauce on a bacon sandwich.

Unlikely, as I know a significant amount of time was spent pouring over the accounts ect.

They've picked up fans from Eastville, Twerton and the Memorial?

So that's why they sell out every game then.

Not just that, I can't understand the logic in assuming a new ground 10 mins drive from the old ground would make much difference in appealing to a whole new group of people.

Just after they got relegated from the football league, as funny as it was and as much as we enjoyed every moment, I said then it could be the best thing that could happen to them from their point of view and I got shoot down for it.

Said that after they went down that they would have a good season in non-league, get promoted straight back and build on the momentum to push forward, given the standard between non-league and league 2 isn't that great.

People said I was wrong and that we would not see or hear of the sags for many years to come. You lied to me!!!

There are known knowns. There are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we now know we don't know.
