Attitude problem is my guess. Clearly something happened during the WC.

Many criticised GS for dropping Greenwood and it looks like he made the right call there so I'll trust him on this one too.

I've been a staunch GS supporter but I can't get behind Phillips being in the team at this time. Maguire I can understand because we're short at the back and he's regularly been one of our top performers, he's got some "credit" that Phillips doesn't really hold yet.

How can you say Ben White has an attitude problem when he gets picked by Arteta each week and performs very well for Arsenal?  I thought the fall out was between Foden/White.

Hello to the little lad walking around Cala D’Or Marina this morning in his City home shirt. His family were very surprised when “come on you reds” was called out from one of the boats where I was working.

We get a few people from Bristol on their holidays walking past and those that say hello I always ask if they are city or **s fans. Never ever had anyone admit they are a blue fewer.

Any other City fans around the area? Either living here or on holiday?

Just got back on Saturday, lovely place to unwind... even with the shock storm ?

When I was a kid I loved all sorts of football shirts, and I’m still somewhat of a collector.

My grandparents in particular would often bring me back a shirt when they went on holiday.

I remember having Dundee, Newcastle, Arsenal, Ajax, Olympiakos, Panathinaikos, AEK Athens, Parma to name a few plus a USA shirt. Doesn’t necessarily mean anything if kids wear different shirts, especially young lads while they are trying to fit in.

It’s called having some culture ?

The bottom line is NP will never be allowed to build a team if we keep selling our best players. Sam Bell,TC,and Cam pring are already on the radar of the bigger clubs,so what chance does he have? Since when did we become Bournemouth's feeder club? Bournemouth????

Totally agree with this, wonder where Leicester had been if they keep selling their best players when he was manager.  Would he ever have got them promoted?   He really does have an impossible task here if that money doesn’t come his way, also it’s not great timing fo get players in now either.

It's about spurs more so accepting the bid, rather than saying strait no.

How is this different to allowing Russian tennis players to play at Wimbledon under the guise of being neutral and win the prize money?

Perhaps, on a footballing level, Europe really is prepared to “forget Russia”. But as the boycotts and bans begin to loosen, as other sports prepare to readmit Russia to the fold, it is a reminder of the fragility of solidarity in a deeply complex world.

The International Olympic Committee has decided to allow Russian athletes for next year’s Paris Games. Wimbledon is set to lift its ban on Russian players next month. Meanwhile, Russia’s footballers are discovering that the beauty of football is also its scourge. There is always – always – somebody else to play.

I agree with your sentiments regarding Novak...but just read back your replies to someone who has an opinion on him not too disimmilar. He's not being offensive or even wrong.

You look a right knob in your replies...making out you're the otib expert on tennis.

Thankfully some don't reveal their hand on it.

Maybe have a think, before you look an even bigger knob on the subject.

Some have actually enjoyed the final and just expressing their appreciation.

No need to be the know it all. ?

That 3rd set game was bloody brilliant, 25 mins !

    He’s number 2

Seeded number 2 for Wimbledon also.  Arguably the best, but as he’s not been allowed to play in some countries in the last 2/3 years he’s not rated number 1.

"Arguably"? He's been miles in front of everyone else.

I didn't realise I was chatting to someone who's just watched their first ever tennis match.

I won't bother asking you what attributes you think Alcaraz shares with Pistol Pete then ? ?

    He’s number 2

I didn't even mean it as a criticism of Djokovic but someone had to take offence on his behalf.

Hardly John McEnroe though is he ? pantomime villian.  Just a top class player who lost to another top class player

    Completely different game to Sampras.

Because it's true? Novak has been using stick from the crowd to get himself going for years. It's hardly a secret. Seems to work for him.

Oh dear , he’s arguably the best tennis player in the world over the last 5 years ?

Sorry your crank poster boy lost.

? Because he objected to a vaccine that has proven not to have worked as it was intended to ? I don’t see an issue to either of them winning, it’s a tennis match between two great players

With Wolves apparently out Bournemouth might get a free run at this. I actually expected more interest tbh.

But why?  Do you really think Spurs would offer 20 million for him when they don't even play their own hot prospect?  As a manager in the Premiership where you need to get results to keep your job, why would you invest 20 million in a player that won't guarantee immediate results on the pitch.  Personally I would like to see Scott staying for one more season and helping to get us into the top half of the table.

Go back and watch it... it was a joke.

If that offends you so much tho, that you hate the bloke, then what a ❄️

A joke that went badly wrong?  I have watched it thanks.  It wasn’t a joke though was it, he said the comment at the time as he was offended as he had a lot of hate mail, very childish.  Needs to retire now and let some younger blood get a chance.

It was a joke, you utter moron.

As for "hating the English", he has English grandparents, his wife and children are English, and he lives in England.

Oh, and he's done more for Great Britain than you ever will.

Just how thick are you people?

Did he say he wanted Argentina to beat England ? Or am I making that up ?  That’s one funny joke …

Not sure if you are on a wind up or you actually believe the rubbish you are writing?

Just don’t rate the guy anymore, think he should retire and let someone younger take his place, preferably someone English.
