Give me Greg Rusedski any day, at least he wanted to be English.

Best British player in modern tennis? Won grand slams. Not that hard to work out
Hardly Ben Stokes is he, the guy is Scottish, hates England. Feel free to support

Shame for Murray. Reckon he wins that last night.
Of course, he was playing well at 10.30pm as the other guy was shattered, the only way he would have beaten him but they could have played until 2am

Not quite sure what the fascination is with Andy Murray, openly admitting he supported Argentina over England in the football. He has had his day, retire gracefully and take his annoying mother with him.

So (if true) he's either motivated by money after all, or if we're being generous, maybe he's joining a club like Leicester where he thinks he could acheive another promotion.
Either way, given he's got money in the family, money in the bank, business interests and was no doubt offered a decent wage here, I'm surprised the boyhood club and legacy factors didn't lure him here.
As someone pointed out earlier, this is likely his last big move and so would like the best deal available. I expect he would have liked to have come home but if there is a better chance of earning more in the latter stages of his career and more chance of achieving promotion then most people would take that.

Well it's still Europe and that's what his CV will say
Yep people like to take the pi$$ I guess as ultimately his success was his downfall.

United for me, always opt for the underdog on these big occasions and would be rather funny to see the treble being snatched away.

Fair play to Luton, all I remember of their last appearance in the top league was the astroturf and Mike Harford in a headband

Probably the worse championship play off final since City v Hull
Loved the game, closest we have ever come in my lifetime , just because the result wasn’t what we all wanted didn’t mean it wasn’t the most interested I was in a game (apart from England)

Apparently we're world beaters.
Football is a funny game, any team can beat any team on their day providing it’s not Man City

I honestly think on today’s performances City would beat them both ,
But we languish in the bottom half

Ah. That makes sense
Well yes it does, 29/30 years old, what team is the better option right now in the championship for getting promoted. I wouldn’t blame him either, better for his career if he wanted the best last transfer possible, rather than to settle. I personally would like him back but it can’t be an easy decision.

But you said "financially"
I did, more beneficial “as a last move” to get promoted and for that to happen, teams above us, especially Blackburn would be a better option at the present time.

It was actually aimed at league position / past position. Blackburn are very close to promotion/playoffs recently as have Swansea, we haven’t.

Spoke to a bloke today who knows Joe's dad - he has had 4 offers of contracts from the Championship. Blackburn, Swansea, Hull and City. Joe knows its his last proper contract, so will obviously be weighing things up. I don't reckon its a shoo -in for us, but should hear within the next couple of weeks. JB is apparently pissed at Fulham, as he reckons he has been pushed out by the American owners who want Robinson in at left back.
Blackburn and Swansea would seem the better options "financially" if he is looking for his last proper contract.

Didn’t realise there was some friction in the camp between him and ? ( I don’t know ) thought he came home for so called family problems
Do you buy that ? He’s not been picked.

No re-call for Ben White then

Don’t hear him saying he would prefer Argentina to beat England, the guy pretty much is playing 11 Australians by himself.
