Course they have decent away support, every away day they are experiencing superior stadiums

Indeed. Freeman was right infront of me and it looked like he took too big a stride as he was so desperate to make the effort to get forward. His legs just slipped from underneath him and he fell flat on his face, absolutely no question of a dive. I really felt for him, any groans were in sympathy for him not a critism against him. I hope he can add a goal at home soon, he certainly deserves one over the past few weeks...and I hope he doesn't grow his hair again so his form continues! Just a quick mention about Pack, the armband certainly suits him. Another great performance, so happy he got a rare goal too. Lovely bloke, great player, well deserved. Another all round team effort. Isn't it great!

The Official Fulham v Bristol City Match Day Thread

I'm on my way back now, had the evening in London after the match. I've read a few pages on this thread and got to say I'm staggered by the pocession stats. It seems we were getting battered by them but we certainly were not. We were always fully in control and just got to say it was pretty much a perfect example of a team performance. They say stats don't lie but if asked I would have said pocession was heavily in our favour. Funny old game! -

I'm expecting the norm...A 2-1 win for us after going a goal down early and waiting until after HT to stage our come back, and Tammy to get at least one of our goals -
Over 15,000 there tonight, and a bit following from Exeter too. Plenty of eating and drinking going on and a fight broke out in the SS right at the end of the match! Some photos.

Thanks for that. So I guess we have to go with what we got and hope we can beat the teams that are more equal to us and also like yesterday hope for results like when Newcastle narrowly lost to help us.

I'm a relatively newcomer to rugby, so forgive me if this is a stupid question, but what can Bristol do to change things as far as bringing in players? From what I gather there isn't a transfer window as such, and players just seem to join teams without transfer fees etc? Does this happen thoughout the season, or is it pretty much settled that you go with the players you have? What about us, if we have a player who is doing well can we suddenly lose him to another team? obviously changing the manager is an option, like I said I know very little about how the game works as far as players and coaches, but didn't the Bath manager, Mike Ford (?) become available last season, I was surprised instead of going for him we very much kept Robinson. So I guess the option to replace is not so easy now? Did we fail to strengthen badly, ie did we do a Bristol City in our last Cotterill season and chase after players out of our reach? Are we not attractive as it's thought newly promoted teams are also certainly relegation candidates? I did notice in our home match that we just weren't getting any distance when kicking the ball into touch. Gavin was again injured and we look much weaker without him, although I was impressed with Pisi and the player we got from Doncaster. So if any of you want to help answer my stupid questions, go ahead. They say you can learn something new everyday if you are prepared to.

They have just mentioned in the Newcastle v Leicester game that they are showing Bristol's next game live on BT Sport, great! Next Friday evening btw.

Whoever thought that was a good idea is in the wrong job, no amount of positive spin could save this. Shockingly, embarrassingly bad. No representation at the Freshers event would have been better than this shambles. They have done more damage than good here. And isn't it just great!!!

I just listened for the first time too. I am staggered. Was that honestly him or are we victims of a wind-up here, yes it was THAT bad, unprofessional and embarrassing that I am seriously questioning it.
