  1. Funniest thing about that thread is the admission that one Jordanian player with them is absolutely shit but is staying on because Wael is funding him. How tinpot is that?
  2. Really? Apart from the obvious one, you honestly wouldn’t know Bobby Reid, Joe Bryan, Aden Flint, Marlon Pack, Korey Smith or Frankie Fielding, then? All of those have done 5 years or more with us. I get some of the others, (Eliasson, for instance) but including Taylor that is 7 I would be genuinely amazed if you didn’t know.
  3. So, they slipped into the bottom half of the table last night, less than 8000 home fans turned up to watch top of the table opposition and the “striker” the great Darrell Clarke spunked £250k on in the summer made his 37th League appearance of the season (1 goal). They now cannot match either last seasons points tally or finishing position. Reckon any of this will feature in The Post?
  4. Struggling with how 11th in The Championship is in any way comparable with 12th in League One. Google the guy who scored against us for Hull as a sub today, a regular for Uruguay, cost £12m, scored 30 goals in Italy, the gas have absolutely no idea what our level is like now..
  5. Baker & Bryan back, Hörður not fit enough for even the bench after spending a lot of the last two weeks in the US. Pretty logical selection.
  6. Allegation on Twitter from a Northampton fan that a steward there today pocketed his and his mates’ entry money of £18 each “because it is a shit job”. Tinpot club.
  7. They really don’t. They are already 2 points ahead, even two draws means they are 4 ahead having played the same number of games. Rovers still have to play the 3 sides who came down last season & occupy three of the top four places. How many points do you reckon they will get against Blackburn, Wigan & at Rotherham? They have already lost 16 games!
  8. **** off, Charlton have played two less!
  9. And this would benefit us how, exactly? Those ***** tried to steal Ashton Gate in ‘82. As far as I am concerned they can **** off & play on The Downs.
  10. Remarkable, I was sure he was mega rich. All seater stadium plus undersoil heating, presumably?
  11. Or put another way, 74%, apparently..
  12. Not strong on maths at The Post, are they? On their (gas) logic is it better than 50% of a 30,000 stadium, then? 74% of a 12,500 capacity stadium is awful.
  13. Don’t believe everything the sags or Bristol Post tell you. He is an U19 international, not a full one which seeing as even by Asian standards Jordan are shit means absolutely nothing. Pretty confident in assuming this guy will never play at Football League level.
  14. Sleeping giants! ******* comatose. How many points are they below Shrewsbury again? That “46,000” will be more than the capacity of Wembley soon.
  15. Absolutely, nothing whatsoever to do with Clarke in this instance but what a comic that “newspaper” now is. Utterly pointless shite, who on earth still buys it?
  16. David Pipe? Andy Spring? They were actually at your club at the time, too..
  17. Remember the top bit, Stockport were also on something like a seven match winning run at the time. The pitch was apparently “waterlogged” despite amateur football taking place at Eastville Park on the same day... It also as you say, coincided with the Saturday between the 2 legged midweek JPT games with us, meaning amazingly they had no game (whereas we travelled up to somewhere like Blackpool & played). Stockport’s manager said the postponement was a “disgrace” and complained to the FA, who of course did absolutely nothing. Cheating scum.
  18. The gap between League One and The Championship is vast now. Last seasons relegated trio from it sit 1st, 3rd and 5th. Of the three sides that came down from The Prem in contrast two of them are in the bottom three again this season. Playing in a 12000 capacity non league standard ground with a swamp for a pitch shows how far they are away from us now.
  19. So their transfer window comprised selling their best player for £400k to a top ten Championship club, (a fee that must surely have been negotiated by David Davis). Then signing a bloke called “Bernard” from Aldershot (no, not the bass player from Chic, sadly he is no longer with us) Plus a 32 year old released by Millwall and then Elliott Bennett’s crapper brother, who was released by Pompey. Must be time for their mates at The Post to change the subject & mention their “amazing away support” again, even though Plymouth’s is miles better. ******* tinpot.
  20. Basically The Post prints that shite every week and those gullible ******* lap it up.
  21. ******* hilarious. Some old gas scrote nicks from their dressing rooms and then puts his ill gotten gains down his ******* trousers whilst another gas kid robs from them as well. They are so classless. #familyclub #bestfansintheworld So “prowed” to be gas, eh?
  22. Said this several times, Argyle are a far bigger club than them. South West's second biggest.
  23. This. Odd team selection, no support for Reid, we looked punchless thoughout. Bizarre to take Bobby off when Flint went up top too.
  24. Doesn't that pre suppose Wael & the gas are being truthful re UWE? Bristol Sport already work in partnership with the likes of Glos cricket, I'm sure a mutually beneficial deal could be struck here.
