  1. Cue several sags writing to Bristol City Council claiming that they “never” get any help from them & that they “always” help us..
  2. Yep, what a complete **** he is. So far they have had a disproportionate number of penalties & opposition red cards, yet he acts like it should happen every game.
  3. Garner has blamed the ref again, no penalty & the opposition keeping 11 on the pitch usually equals a defeat, so he looks for excuses. What a tosser he is.
  4. Seems obvious from the outside she is being asked to compete at the top level without the necessary funds to do so. Clear that there are leagues within leagues in women’s football & City are by far the lowest funded, SL pretty much admitted this in his lengthy pre season interview. In which case the coach, who kept them up against the odds in similar circumstances last season, is on a hiding to nothing.
  5. True, but think that was their first point of the season without either a penalty or an opposition sending off. They’re coming for us...
  6. He only moans when they get beat. The games they win through penalties & sendings off he is fine with.
  7. Blue “half” of Bristol is the funniest thing there, they still spout this lie in The Post as well (Gregor did last week) don’t they teach fractions any more? They get 7000, we get 19,000, how the **** can that be half? #gaslogic
  8. 100%, they are simply freeloaders & parasites. Only 2 years after moving in they had swindled their way to gaining the other 50% of The Mem, they then bled the rugby club dry, taking all the proceeds from the bars when Bristol played & removing all their memorabilia from a ground that had been theirs for nearly 100 years. If they had got hold of any share of Ashton Gate in ‘82 they would have done exactly the same to us. Thank goodness for Deryn Coller & Ken Sage, equally as vital as the Ashton Gate 8.
  9. Another ******* penalty, missed it mind..
  10. It is and obviously I meant “without” a penalty or sending off in their favour..
  11. Just checked they haven’t won a game in 2020 with either a penalty or the opposition having a player sent off. They have only won 3 games this year, they got a penalty v Sunderland, played 47 minutes v 10 men against Blackpool & today, when they got both. Incapable of winning games without the help of the referee.
  12. 7 penalties last season, 3rd highest in their division.
  13. I think it is highly likely the clubs involved here have done this specifically to highlight the stupidity of the current arrangement at a level where some teams don’t get crowds of 1000 anyway.
  14. Every day of the week. The bloke in charge of them now is an absolute fraud, never done anything in football. Love or hate Cotts, his track record is decent & he is still based here. Like to see him back in work but not for those ******* jokers.
  15. Delusional, mind you they are the club that takes thousands away every game & once took 3 million to Wembley..
  16. The latest bloke to report on them for Bristol Live predicted that they would finish 10th.. Presumably he thought they would play 70 games to everyone else’s 46?
  17. In the strange position of hoping Doncaster don’t score again so they don’t sack the clown. Wonder why Adelakun joined Hull instead after meeting up with the fake manager, eh?
  18. Big difference. They are run by professionals & respect qualifications (we used to mock Germans for their “Herr Docktor Professor” titles, well no more). Whereas we are a ******* shambles, fancy a job running track & trace? Any relevant experience? Don’t be silly, I ****** up at TalkTalk but do know a lot about horses & am married to a Tory MP.. There is a link between competence & Covid deaths and we are the equivalent of the gas in the league tables..
  19. Saw a picture of him at the game in a white t shirt, jeans & with no socks on. He looked nothing like a football manager, so insert your own punchline..
  20. People have to earn a living, but I agree, I’ve seen happier faces than that at funerals.
  21. With the projected numbers it would clearly have to be ST holders that the selection was made from, but how they choose beyond that, apart from asking the question (as here) whether some want to opt out, I have no idea. Certainly anyone with a pre existing health condition might be wise not to do so at the outset.
  22. To be fair to them a point away at Sunderland is a decent start, though they can’t keep getting awarded penalties & finish against 10 men all the time, can they? Is it my imagination or do both of these things seem to happen a lot? Edit, just checked they had 7 penalties last season, the 3rd highest number.
  23. They really are so small time these days. My favourite one (The Post trotted it out this week) is the Red “half” of the City. Their gates are just over a third of ours now, signings like this (with the Clarke-Harris money) show just how small they now are. They’re a bottom eight third division club with no prospect of improving their position at all.
