  1. Hardly likely to say the 9 outfield players playing every minute are ******, is he?
  2. Wow, even by their incredibly low standards that is tinpot.
  3. You are right, but the local media are equally culpable, too. Even this year the Post talked about his family wealth being £500m and the BBC sent a local journalist (Andy Howard) to Jordan to do a (totally unnecessary) fawning piece on Wael. It was pretty clear from the start that someone who was seriously considering buying Gillingham before them was hardly another Sir Stephen Lansdown, but their pathetic desire to find nice things to say about the horse punchers got in the way of the (incredibly amusing) truth.
  4. Oh yes. With that Jordanian bullshitter in charge they are effectively slowly dying in front of us. How many "loyal and true" will keep going against the likes of Bury and Northampton for relegation six pointers in freezing January or February?
  5. 8300. Can't even give tickets away, can they? Blue "half" of Bristol.., like ****.
  6. Seriously though, how many people actually buy this sort of "book"? 50? Who wants to read shite like "remember that time we took 500 to Leyton Orient & we drew 1-1"? The definition of minority interest..
  7. Plymouth Argyle, a bottom four club had 11000+ today, the blue few on the other hand just over 8000. No argument over who is the West's second club, is there?
  8. Anything that you can give to make his earnings up to just below the minimum wage would be really appreciated..
  9. Illiterate ******* as well, it is "they're" which is an abbreviation of they are, not "there". Stupid, horse punching, racist, ridiculously gullible former non league *****, aren't they?
  10. Surely the funniest part of that link is the bit where Comical Ali (Jack Vittles) says "neither side trusted the pitch so couldn't commit to passing football". Do your own jokes on that one, after all it was a L1 game with one team who had lost nine out of their last ten against a team with no win in their last six. Not because they are both ******* shit, then?
  11. I have watched it now and to be fair he is misquoted as he makes it very clear that is net spend, so after money brought in for Taylor, etc. He is bloody rude though, rarely letting a question finish before interrupting.
  12. He doesn't say net spend though, does he? He says "in total". Feeling under pressure, Darrell?
  13. No fan of that Jordanian bullshitter but Clarke must think gas fans are even more stupid than we do. He said he had only spent "£135k in total since 2014" but Nichols from Peterborough (who they signed to replace Taylor this summer) was rumoured to have cost £250k alone and I doubt the Oxford player Sercombe was much less than £150k. Of course when you have lost 9 of your last 10 you will say any old bollocks in excuses, eh?
  14. Weirdly I can't recall Roverz 20,000+ gates in League One, so comparing themselves to Sheff U is a bit like if we compared ourselves to Arsenal, isn't it?
  15. Be interesting to see if any of Bryan, Paterson or Djuric start at Hull. I'd be very surprised if Joe did, as he took a hell of a whack in midweek. LJ hasn't got much wrong this season but I was amazed when Paterson came on as a sub when we were already 4-1 up v Palace, after losing so much weight with his virus, as coincidence or not, he looked shattered despite only playing about 15 minutes & hasn't been the same player as the one with the highest number of assists in the division since that spell of illness. Djuric worries me, outstanding in a couple of recent games, but it looks to me like his frame means he is going to struggle with injuries all of the time. Expect Magnússon, Pack & Taylor or Woodrow to come in to replace these 3 and it will be a draw. Eliasson, the only bright spot in midweek will probably lose out today to Pack because we are away & he isn't the best defensively.
  16. Let's hope so, the sooner they die the better.
  17. That " blue third" of Bristol is gradually (and appropriately) becoming the blue quarter of Bristol..
  18. As someone considering moving within BS3, trust me, your upper figure is now at the bottom end of what you would get something decent for. Those gas monkeys in Fishponds simply have no clue just how expensive that part of South Bristol is now..
  19. Never seen that reported anywhere before and I am still extremely doubtful of it now. Those articles tend to be written by people who were barely out of Primary school at the time, if they were even born at all. I can't see why the Clive Whitehead contract would have been so widely reported and the others not, so personally I'm doubting they ever happened. What was clearly the case was that back to back relegations, dwindling crowds, unwise expenditure and several players well past their best (plus a couple, Julian Marshall and Peter Aitken who were simply crap) all lead to the Ashton Eight.
  20. No argument with much of that mate but it isn't quite accurate to say the "players were on ten year contracts", just one, Clive Whitehead was (11 years actually), an understandable over reaction to Gary Collier leaving us under freedom of contract and he left us anyway, in a £100k deal to West Brom, as part of the fire sale which saw Gerry Gow & Tom Ritchie go to Man City & Sunderland..
  21. And you are being over generous. Every start for his national team has been at LB in a back four, so it isn't as if we have asked him to play up front or go in goal, is it? He is a £2m + international defender and should be judged as one.
  22. As usual Andy Howard of Radio Bris (who wangled that trip to Jordan to make that pathetic programme that blew smoke up Wael's arse) is giving him the Guardiola treatment on Twitter saying he is "coming out fighting" with absolutely no mention of what is it now? 8 defeats in the last nine games for that clown...
  23. Will be delighted to be proved wrong & obviously don't know if Paterson & Djuric are fully fit, but baffled by that team, Magnússon & Taylor especially.
  24. I tend not to read The Post these days because to be frank, it is horseshit, but Jack Vittles' Comical Ali reporting of their fortunes in it is always good for a laugh and true to form there are a couple of absolute belters here: "Sky high expectations" Seriously? From a club that plays in a ground that is easily one of the worst in the football league, can't apparently fund its own training ground & who have lost 7 out of 8, which he has described as a "sticky spell" bit of an understatement or what? Perhaps it is being less than 16 points behind Shrewsbury at this stage of the season, eh? My favourite though is their "top six fanbase' which is based on what, exactly? Certainly not on actual crowds, Bradford, Pompey and Charlton leave them absolutely standing, whereas Blackburn and MK Dons are better supported plus Plymouth, who had a higher gate recently on the same day against Rochdale when they were rock bottom, would certainly average more with comparable results.. Utter propaganda or as I said earlier, horseshit, you choose..
