Absolutely. Saw a couple of terrible hammerings at Twerton but much as I hate to admit it, Rovers under Francis were very effective in both of those games. Brighton were just as bad as us but we were absolute litter, totally gutless & wouldn’t have scored if they had packed up & gone home. Anyone who ever wonders why Wilson was rightly sacked afterwards should be made to watch this game every week until they get it.

Taylor really struggled at FGR but he’s scored in both his appearances since joining Cheltenham. Clarke has done a great job, sold their main striker in January & yet still battling away.

Often for National League games they seem to arrange the outfield players completely randomly.

Nakhi is a smart footballer. I’ve noticed in recent games how he completely understands his game, he knows he’s never beating his CB opponent (who usually towers over him) in the air, so he jumps to make it as difficult as he can for him, backs in. Off the ball running & the space he creates for others is class too. When we first signed him I thought he was a bit of a sulker, questionable body language. I was wrong, he’s definitely a team man & I know his support in developing our young strikers (not only Tommy) has been really appreciated.

I can only guess that with the Baggies being ahead in injury time they were expected to hold on?

Entitled to your view mate but a 19 year old with just one senior start ever (when he was taken off at HT) back in August, starting away at Boro would surprise me. Manning as much as said that his “minutes” will come from the bench, so I won’t be surprised if he gets on (especially if we’re chasing the game) but I doubt very much he’ll start today or Tuesday.

Be smart management to keep faith with him, he’s incredibly fit & at 21 you have the capacity to play again so soon. Looks like more options will be available next week so could get a breather then.
