2-0 City win, no sweat.
Here's hoping we end the season well and try to build a bit of momentum to take into the summer...
COME ON YOU REDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Well all those piling abuse on me and others months ag are now conspicuous by their absence
I said then wait and see who was right
We have our answer
This club is rotten from top to bottom
SL please go
You always take it too far with all this SL nonsense.
SL has been guilty of giving LJ far too much loyalty - which is often an admirable trait, but not the best approach to develop a successful football team. It is Lee Johnson who has to go, not SL. I disagree that the club is rotten top to bottom, this is a pathetic assertion.

More like an anvil from a cliff. Still can't believe the scale of this pathetic defeat.

I fear 'that right thing ' will be doing absolutely nothing . We are stuck with LJ forever ,it's like some recurrent nightmare.
I just can't see it now, not after tonight. Saturday's defeat I could accept and even understand. Tonight is utterly unforgivable. His role is now untenable, SL must clearly see this.

LJ has to be sacked tomorrow morning.
Simply no excuses for Lansdown or the board. If LJ is not sacked, then not one single City fan should go to the home game Saturday.
I mean not one single fan.
But I am 100% sure SL will do the right thing tomorrow.

In all fairness, you may well be right. Truth be told, Brentford were good for the win, and we were absolute crap in the first half.
But going into that second period, having somehow kept them down to the 2 goals (mainly due to FF) a 2-2 draw was definitely there for us.
Still on to this evening; just hope the players start quicker and cut out the sloppy defending.

Predict another gutless defeat to add to the ever growing list of gutless defeats.
LJ will preach to his disciples with tales of turning water into wine post match and they will be verily satisfied and proclaim that he is the son of GJ and regail us with verses of excuses for I say LJ is not too blame, everybody else is, amen.
On a personal level on a break in sunny Devon, views overlooking Dartmoor, just witnessed a barn owl hatching, busy day ahead, in the words of the kaiser chiefs I predict a fry up.
How do you define a gutless defeat? If our well-worked chances had been taken, we could've drawn 2-2 on Saturday. There seems to be a myth that the City players aren't trying to win games, aren't trying to compete. This is nonsense, the truth is, as shown by the League Table - the City team just isn't that good compared to the rest of the Championship. We are capable of the odd surprise result (4-0 to Huddersfield, decent away draw to Newcastle etc) but on the whole, we are a bottom 5 team.
I've not seen evidence of gutless defeats, just a struggling team, who for 45 minutes on Saturday couldn't compete with an aggressive, quick, Brentford team who pressed us into mistakes and kept us pinned into our own half. The second half performance was much better, and had Tammy and Taylor scored their inviting chances, we could be here on the back of an excellent point.

Will you start another told you so thread if City win? Your a joke of a City 'follower'.
Thatch35, you come across on here as a nasty piece of work, is that your intention? Why the need for such angst, what's going on with you?

Great work, Hava, fascinating historical look at Priestown with your usual sprinkle of informative detail.
As much as I'd kill for a win tonight, I can see a 1-1 draw as the most likely result.

This one has a draw wrote all over it.
But I'm praying for a 2-1 City win with Tammy scoring a winner.
COME ON YOU REDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come on City, please for the love of all City fans around the world and the cosmos, win this damned game today!!
I look for a 2-0 win and a draw at Blackburn v Wigan.
If we lose today, farewell Mr Johnson, thanks for the survival last season.
I fear the talents of Michael Kightly; will luck do us a favour and somehow force him to miss this game today?

Incredible, truly incredible.

If we lose today, I just pray the usual crowd don't all descend on LJ again and the forum doesn't become a massive outpouring of hatred towards Lee.
If we lose, then we have to take it on the chin and prepare properly for Leeds.

sadly, think is a very likely outcome also
Jeez, it's only Derby. managed by... Steve McLaren.
No reason to fear such a one-sided score line. Even in our losing run we were only losing by 1 goal each game.
We haven't been outclassed all season (correct me if I'm wrong).

#DERvBRC: Giefer, Little, Flint, Wright, Golbourne, Cotterill, Hegeler, Brownhill, Bryan, Abraham, Taylor. #BristolCity
On paper, well on the screen at least, that looks a very good team. Should be good for the 1-1 draw I'm expecting.
Just hope Little has a game free of errors, and with the support of Cotts, can have a decent game at RB.

1--1 draw today. Paul Ince Junior and Matty Taylor to score.

You are joking?
The squad had serious flaws, had rode its look and was around that play off scene
It was always going to sour. deal with it.
Well, of course it was a bit of a joke... but holy crap, can't believe how our form has deteriorated into the terrible run we're currently experiencing.
There was no evidence back then to suggest the season was always going to sour to this shocking extent, and that's the main concern. I expected a dip, yeah sure, we all did, but to fall so low, come on man, how can you deal with that? I sure as shit know I can't.

Based on what?
Before November we had the world at our feet....
Damn I hate November, that month just had to come along and ruin everything.

Strongly expect City to win 2-0 again, and what's more, my old man agrees. This is strange... we never agree on the score.

If it's a win tonight then this place is going to be a very quite old town.
Going with a rather boring 0-0
It's a funny thing isn't it, if City win, or on a good run of form, then OTIB turns into a bit of a library, mainly without the contribution of those who love a good grumble!

City to win 3-1. Tammy, Tomlin and Wilbs from the bench.
One of the Wolves players will get a red card for a two-footed lunge on Bryan, and LJ will have to pull back an enraged Flint.
COME ON CITY,
YOU REDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

By far the most interesting person I (sort of) know (do internet forums count as knowing someone?). Your life is an incredible adventure, and no doubt would make a good book or two, and a decent Sunday evening film.
Perhaps, in the non footie section you could pen the saga of your life - if you don't mind us nosey buggers prying over every detail!
Around the world and you bump into a City fan and a Preston fan. Marvellous stuff.
I'll take your wish for a 4-0 win and predict the same score line. Perhaps if enough of us predict the same score, the combined will of the City collective will force the score to manifest as reality.
COME ON YOU REDSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
LJ is the King.

On the next free weekend (international break) I suggest we all travel en masse to the places mentioned / photographed above, decked out in City shirts, and go on a guided tour.
Havanatopia to lead the walk and talk.
A new City rambling club is born!
Today's game, a 2-1 City win, to celebrate LJ 2020.
COME ON YOU REDS, LET'S MAKE OUR WAY BACK TOWARDS THE TOP SIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well done to the lads, needed that home win. December is our month to shine and dominate.....

1-1 draw, but I'd take a loss fair and square on the chin as long as we don't get duffed up too badly. Bet you haven't heard anyone say 'duffed up' for a while, eh?
