And Derby.
Technically behind Derby on goal difference, they haven't conceded this month.
Yes of course, I'm looking at 6 games. Ipswich to hold them to a draw then.

As pointed out a win tonight and surely motm is in the bag for Lee?
Currently joint top of the form table with Leeds so fingers crossed.

I understand the concept of a plastic fan even if I find it a bit tedious but what on earth is a plastic player?
If he means not home grown, how many Bristol boys/academy graduates are in the Rovers squad?
And what is a community club, other than one at least part owned by the fans perhaps? Perhaps he means the well known Gashead community in Jordan? The digaspora so to speak.
If he is referring to the family club myth, that seems to lack an evidence base, other than the BP repeatedly calling it such.
If he means a club that is active in the community, our record is rather good on that front too, as recent well publicised events have shown.
All in all not a well made case then. Must try harder.

listened to 20man on the way home last night and they are definitely worried, but they are still deluded. They keep talking about January and how signings will save them, but don't seem to have sussed that they will have to be shopping in Poundland, let alone LIDL. In their current predicament, it's difficult to see why players even from lower leagues would want to join them.
Poundland is likely to be too expensive. Dumpster diving is more the level I think.

He consistently says he takes responsibility while simultaneously making it clear it's all the players' fault.

How many different players have scored for us this season? So much better than relying on a single prolific striker.

This is what gets churned out when someone from Cardiff tries to sound intelligent!!
Quite. 17 years and the wheel on this cycle appears to be turning backwards.
And does it not occur to this half wit that their crowds could only dwarf ours if they had a new stadium? As opposed to new toilets.

Another great Havanatopia journalistic style starter. Thanks.
Two things; I trust Bramall Lane has undersoil heating otherwise with a clear night sky plus freezing temperatures, frost could easily have the game abandoned around half time. My other point is purely pedantic, so apologies Havanatopia but what is the plural of addendum as "A couple of addendums" is surely incorrect? I'd say it's either addenda or addendae. However, if we substituted addendum with the word stadium then a couple of stadiums would be acceptable, although stadia would be preferable. So maybe addendums is ok? I told you it was pedantic but what is the correct wording?
The general rule is that Latin words adopted into English attract English plurals e.g. forums not fora. So addendums is fine.

Given the injury situation we are showing astonishing adaptability and resilience. A sign of mental strength and togetherness. This is a team to be proud of.

Yep, here's the slide. Back in to obscurity we go.
We are regressing to the mean, not helped by injuries. Disappointing, but probably to be expected.

Did you listen to any of it? He came across as the complete opposite of broken. The guy is a fighter no question and Rovers are very lucky to have him.
I have no affinity with Clarke but to an average bi-stander he is quite a bit more interesting to listen to than our LJ.
Maybe so if you like cliches, repetition and self contradiction.
All managers under pressure say they are fighters and won't quit. It's code for 'I won't resign because I want a pay off'.
Still it was certainly interesting to hear him claim to take full responsibility yet accuse his players of crumbling then claim he would boost their confidence. A certain lack of coherence there.
It's pretty standard too for managers to claim they take responsibility while blaming everybody else.
The fact is that he has been duped by the owner and has been as gullible as the fans. He is now paying the price for that and his past hubris.

Very odd to take your top scorer out of the attack certainly.

Nonsense!
Haven't you heard, they are about to become the Wolves feeder club!
With ambition like that, I for one fear for the future.
Not going to happen unless they move the whole club to Portugal first.

That caller who is always out of breath on radio bristol said Paterson motm, fair enough. Fielding a close 2nd!? He had a very good game, but didn't really have too much to do did he?
We had 16 shots to their 7 I think so it seems not.

3 points, clean sheet. That'll do nicely.

A bit of a myth. Last figures I saw the MOTM winner won or drew around 70% of the games following their award. Since, crudely, there is a 33% chance of each possible result this is pretty much what you would expect.
