Not really a poor show, if the spelling and grammar are ok it's a step up. Post and various online personas are a complete shit show.

They are 10 points ahead, and points in the bag are key. They don't tend to speculate too much, though they try and tempt you to lump on that 33/1. Luton are in pole position , it counts for a lot. we "could" win our next 4 but we might not. Bookies don't take risks on maybes.

Looking at it coldly. 10 points behind Luton, we could quite possibly catch them, we've picked up 5 points on them over the last 5/6 games. That's a very simple way to focus, but. There are another six teams we have to overtake too, and only 13 games to go. Add a small squad, with injuries , very few options to rotate. It would take a minor miracle for everything to fall into place , not impossible , but massively unlikely. Great to dream, but I think that's all it is, this year at least. I just hope the team go out and act like we can make it, keep it interesting for the rest of the season.

We didn't offer Rosenior a contract in time, vaguely recall it was supposed to have been a mix up. Meant he could walk. Typical City at certain times. His contract had run out and he trained with Fulham to earn a move, we were paying his wage purely to get some compensation. I think we did want to keep Rosenior , but shot ourselves in the foot.

Watched it earlier, though did fast forward past the goals. Perfect World maybe we score the Pen, Bell passes the chance he hit into the defender and we go 2-1. Of course with nearly £400 Bazzillion sat on the bench , they could get into third gear and sneak it anyway. All I wanted was to put on a good show, we did. The one in a thousand game we win, will have to wait. -
From Pearsons point of view he will want us to keep pushing and keep performing. If he says we can't go up and can't go down then there could be some worry of players being "on the beach' already. Give them a target, set them a task and push them to try. Makes sense to me, hopefully means the season won't peter out and we could see some good games. FWIT, I think it's a step too far. But why not try.

It's funny how we see games differently. I thought over the pitch, breaking up and linking play he was good, his choice of and delivery of longer passes was , at times , poor. But TBF, always sowing for the ball, always in their faces and keeping play moving. Agree. I think this shows up more with Kalas in for Atkinson. Kalas is an old school defender, win it give it. He does not tend to get involved with build up , so where Atkinson might bring the ball out and can find a pass, Kalas wants to lay it off for someone else to do. I think with Naismith back we would be able to add that longer pass to involve Mehmeti and Skyes earlier .

Yes I know he's left, but it's nice to see (some of ) our old players doing well. Playing CB scored twice last night to help Pompey to a 3-1 win.

There were a few decisions where, if it was for Man City you know they would have been given. The Penalty shout ? Could easily have been given though not blatant maybe. If that was Mahrez it's given IMO. When Bell was flatened on the edge of the area ? There were a few. As for the Linesmen, Lansdown side he was so far behind play even when he got it right he could only be guessing. It does seem , when we get "top" Refs they end up as bad or worse than the regular ones.

I've seen a link with Newcastle, where the rumour is they would loan him back for next season. May be nothing in it, but if there is a straw out there, I'm clutching at it .

I felt for him at times last night. Our movement and ability to give an option to the man in possession isn't always great. When he then breaks the line looks up and there's nothing on it makes it really difficult, he's left with a lump forward. He complained a couple of times last night , notably after he was caught in possession after a good little run. Unlucky with the goal, but you can't leave that ball . A really learning moment , playing against possibly the best pressing side around, that also have brilliant movement and work ethic, it was tough.

Nursery School standard thinking, as expected. They called us the Shit , I think it may have even started with Bristol shity. Then they managed to get to shithead for a fan. Like I said, Nursery School level of thinking, which TBF, is a step up for most of them.

I see Conway involved, I wonder how close he is as I've not noticed any updates for him . Too early for the bench tonight, but I wonder how far away he is. It will make the bench for League games competitive.

When I met Mrs Maaan, an early conversation went something like .. Me "do you like football?" Her " no" ? and she's moaned about me going AWOL every Saturday/Tuesday/Wednesday ever since, and hates it all the ore for it.

Josh Owers and Seb Palmer-Houlden on loan to Yeovil

I was surprised, dropped into relegation zone. I haven't taken much interest but they seemed to have dropped like a stone. I thought they would be up around the top end. -
I think it depends on circumstances. The club is tanking and the managers is sacked, whoever comes in then it's hard and if it's from within then even harder IMO. If it's to carry on and the manager has been groomed to succeed , a bit like Jordan taking over from Cooper, then it is a bit different.
