  1. Just looked and Hull and Cardiff are home, near us in the table and 10/3. Not a big difference, so 5 years without a Pen counts for nothing in the odds.
  2. I've been told there is to be a physical link/walkway from the new arena/hotel to the Stadium. So I imagine the whole package would be held by Ashton Gate Ltd when completed, and I guess it would work on the same lines as the Stadium and City.
  3. The Boo Radleys - Wake Up Boo!
  4. Clause or not, if he has said he will not sign a new contract whatever, I see little benefit in him playing. I like him, but you may as well give Kadji minutes unless we are desperate. We have King, Williams, James, Scott even Naismith before you get to the kids or those that could "fill in". I think Pearson might have one eye on next year and HNM isn't a part of that.
  5. I actually missed Atkinsons bad pass debating this. I really don't know the Laws now, slight changes that make what we have been brought up with completely wrong. Spurs disallowed goal before the World Cup, the ball went backwards to the scorer, but he was still offside. Looks days to understand that one. The offside from when he touches the ball is ridiculous IMO. Very few of the tweaks have made it easier for anyone but I think they will keep going until it works for VAR, which of course doesn't help the rest of the EFL.
  6. Back when they were rivals we used to argue a lot, as you'd imagine. But constant replies like, "that's in the past" when we would say about a run of wins. While they would constantly try and remind us of any win they had had in the previous decade. As Graham said **** 'em
  7. Well we disagree, partly, I don't think it's clear and that's why people disagree on here. He doesn't blow for the foul, and IMO starts to turn away. He does keep his eye on the incident but hasn't given a foul. There is a tangle and it is a foul by Scott, though they both seem at it, it's the non decision that causes the problem. That's why I said I'd love to see his report. My first post said that he could have been playing on but then pulled it back, but he neither signals advantage (as they normally do) or go to give the free kick against Scott. I don't know why we bother discussing decisions any more, specially ones that could be Pens.
  8. He does, but the Ref didn't give the free kick. Their player is taking the ball away about 10 yards away from the area. No decision and no play on signal, that's why everyone is pissed off. If he is playing advantage, they still have the advantage and the reaction is surely a different stage of play, just an easy out to then pull it back. Really bad, unclear and muddled whatever the Ref is trying to do. They didn't lose their advantage as they still had the ball ,then their player barged Scott. I'm not sure what the correct decision but I would love to hear how the Ref saw it.
  9. I just realised Was getting mixed up with the Naismith foul (definite booking) and the one the Ref stopped the game for the Swansea player having a knock to the back. Another baffling decision IMO, I thought we had the ball and he stopped play to give their keeper the ball.
  10. Just watched these highlights , Semenyo & Atkinson look easy Pens to give and the only way I can explain the other one? The Ref saw a foul by us , played advantage then called it back to book the defender ..... But the Ref doesn't wave play on, he never points as though to give a free kick . Just books the defender and gives him the kick. Pathetic. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/64165605
  11. Two incidents summed up how Referees go about their days work when Reffing us. The one above, where the injured player doesn't have to leave the pitch and the one where their player gets booked and gets a free kick. I'd love to see the assessors report and the refs reply, another letter incoming
  12. I didn't know that, but I didn't think a foul was given let alone a card, as the ball was cleared and both teams played on. So I was wrong in my assumption, and the Ref was just plain wrong . ?
  13. Commercial Rooms sell Blue Moon
  14. Really, I thought it was. I do think that makes less of a difference than VAR potentially does, but this day and age and with the money sloshing around Football they should be able to do it throughout the League.
  15. I thought that was standard throughout the League now, so I guess that's just non League teams. But I guess that is similar. At least it would be just Non League Teams playing home that don't have it , so the differences are limited. From 1st round you get 32 qualifiers to add to the 72 League teams. So VAR is available at 20 out of 124 clubs, what's the point. Ref it Old School.
  16. As @Taunton_BCFC said, 12 something. I think it's great we get 20k for League games, but I'm like many, having to stump up extra for Cup games I struggle for motivation. It was my mates Birthday and that was the main reason I went.
  17. It's obviously a City thing, along with not getting Penalties.
  18. I have said from the start, it's a disgrace that just because you are in the Prem and have VAR, you can get a decision that a team from a lower League wouldn't. The whole thing about the FA Cup is that it is the same for every team that enters, it aint now.
  19. Picture the scene..... Penalty Bristol City, umm the players seem to be wandering around not sure what to do next. They are consulting the bench, but they seem unaware what the next step is .... The Ref has now given a goal Kick
  20. As far as I know there is no desertion , you get treatment and you have to leave the field. Otherwise it is open to even more accusations of cheating.
  21. That is the problem. They know if they miss something they have cover, it gives them an easy out. Of course back in the real World of the EFL a non decision impacts massively, just as much as a wrong one.
  22. Swansea looked a better team, without creating anything or causing us problems. Apart from a give-away goal they didn't have a shot on target until about 80 minutes . We didn't really cause them problems until we changed shape , but if we were allowed Pens we could easily have nicked it. Hope Weimann is OK, forgot you could only use Subs in 3 spells and wondered why Pearson was telling him to go off. Probably a fair result, but I really want to see the 2/3 Pen shouts again. In real time I thought there were 2 decent Penalty appeals.
  23. Worst of all the bad Prem Refs we've had. Foul after foul given, but it took until about the 75th minute for him to book one of theirs. Managed to book one of theirs for something in the their area, but give them a free kick. Stopped play, I think we may have had the ball, for a Swansea player with a bad back. Trainer comes on and gives him treatment but for some reason he didn't have to leave the pitch. I won't mention the Penalty shouts as I've given up. ******* unless.
  24. Great effort TBF, really showing Div 5 in a good light. Chesterfield robbed too.
