Although is still very early days in the grand scheme of things, from what I understand it’s very much a “I’ll leave that to you, not really my focus” from Manning to Tinnion re the u21/18s Loanees & processes, whereas under Pearson he was a lot more actively involved on a player by player basis at all ages. Far less 21s/18s lads involved in first team training now, though that could be a byproduct of less injuries. I’m going to be v interested to see how ‘academy first’ we are throughout the summer, especially with pre-season tours and friendly squads.

I’ve really never seen it with him. Decent with his feet, that’s about it. By all accounts wasn’t particularly going down well by both parties that he was putting more effort into his tiktok than focusing on football itself too, which wouldn’t have helped.

I always find these views of retrospection fascinating. With JET, we were in league one, hence why he looked so good. Tomlin, we were in a relegation scrap. We’re in a far far better position now, than when either of them were here. Although I absolutely can’t disagree on the chore part….

I work with a QPR ST holder, and it’s very widely known their end that the wolves interest came because he’d spent multiple times up there delivering presentations to their board, basically whoreing himself out to them, only to act surprised and caught out by them publicly approaching him. Acted the loyal hero by turning them down. Low and behold he jumps ship at the first opportunity about 4 days later after losing some games..

When we started OSIB in 2017, recording everything face to face every week sometimes twice a week until lockdown hit, me driving from worle to bemmy most Sundays and taking up 9am-2pm pretty much everytime, Stan doing even more than that lugging his laptop and mics all across London each morning and editing each episode until most Sunday evenings, I can safely say at no point did any of us think “this is so great, everyone’s going to think we are the most well informed fans across the entire fanbase”
