Yes went to the Bristol one last month, and the London Charlotte st one a fair few times as I work round the corner. Really good and very reasonable price too. The decor in the Bristol one is incredible, read somewhere online it’s the most money they’ve spent on any of their sites. Would deffo recommend.

Also shows the ‘player of the league’ type awards are largely pretty meaningless and somewhat embarrassing. ‘Best player’ in league one only wanted by another league one club or a league two club. Thats some going.

I see they now want c£1m for Collins after saying he was worth a minimum of £4m in the summer. Gas logic and gas math.

Had the same issue for my 30th next month, Hen & Chicken is probably a shout as it’s the lowest one with a booking fee I could see. Racks had some pretty ridiculous clauses of amounts needed to be spent on food as well as drinks. Ended up booking Steam Crane on north st for free, incredibly nice and accommodating, basically said I could book whatever area I wanted for free and more than welcome to bring in our own food etc if we want to as well. So would recommend dropping them a note mate if you don’t want to spend any money on booking.

One thing I only realised last night that is utterly bizarre, why do they blast whatever is happening in the half time ‘entertainment’ through the speakers in the toilets? No one can see what’s happening, and even if they could, no one needs to hear Downsy screaming at the top of his lungs commentary about the apple race thing.

I do wonder how much of that is due to the fact that the O’Neills supply is so poor, or in some cases so poorly sold I.e the awful vests and coaches wear, that they have to put out Bears stuff so that the shop isn’t basically half empty.

Came on to say exactly the same. Was in awe of how he carried everyone on his back away at Cardiff, and did the same in the game under Flem. That pushes him above the rest for me.

LJ got absolutely slated be the slummers when he said after a game (can’t remember which) “the red half of brist…well, the red two thirds of Bristol, will be happy tonight”. He was absolutely spot on. The gap is only getting wider.

FFS did we learn nothing from the post Watford away thread Enjoyed last nights performance, felt like it was heading for a 0-0 from 55/60 mins or so. I’ll start getting properly excited when we are seeing the same level in the league games (consistently); which I don’t think we will until next season, personally. McCrorie has made a huge, huge difference, no wonder we were so keen on him for so long, and Atkinson will suit this side perfectly as well. I’d say that was Mehmeti’s best game in the red and white stripes too for me. Him & Knight were so much more narrow, making Tommy far less isolated and less on the periphery of the game than he has been over the last month or so as well. Next run of games should suit us well, Albeit against better teams, if the theory so far is that we are better & show greater attacking threat against the sides who don’t sit in. My eyes are on the summer though, going to be a fascinating window, if we can keep seeing what we saw last night and are going to stick with 3421. Having the 2 narrow 10s and not wingers is a pretty far cry from the ‘Bristol City way’ Tinnion so proudly bleated, so going to be interesting to see which attacking players from the academy can get anywhere near breaking through if this will be the new look.
