  1. Think Bell has already been told he’ll be released in the summer. shame about the result for Taunton, but at least it’s actually another game played!! With the weather we’ve had, assumed it’d be a shoe in for postponement
  2. Sorry I meant segregation sell outs
  3. Around 200-400 ish, but Torquay/Taunton games have been total sell outs around 1200 or so. Don’t get many away fans, no segregation so can just walk around and stand/sit wherever you want. There’s two outside bars and a few food vendors too, or an indoor clubhouse type area with one too
  4. I honestly couldn’t recommend it more mate. I went loads as a youngun after school with mates etc, so still make an effort to get down there when I can, probably a few times a season. Cheap entry, cheap football food, can have a pint watching the game etc.
  5. I think Bartlett at Weston is a bit of an odd character to deal with. Not the great pitch/playing surface. Better relationship with Bath? I agree though, and would really like to see more of our boys at Weston more often.

  7. Stuck the first half on, and **** me they are absolutely truly dreadful. It’s like watching a park team at times. Matt Taylor must be really regretting taking that job.
  8. James Morton signed for Southend earlier this months. Whenever I’ve seen Opi at Weston this season, calling a spade a spade, he’s been absolutely dreadful.
  9. All the ‘roof’ videos have shown recently, is that the tops of all of the newly developed stands are absolutely filthy and need a good clean.
  10. Someone must’ve Stoked the pipe and the leak was too strong…. Argghhh that’s not that great, but there’s a pun in there somewhere, definitely
  11. God, it’s even worse than I remembered when you look at it again in the cold light of day. 2 keepers on the bench and still can’t even fill it.
  12. I dunno Dave, I for one spend £400 on a ST, spend however many extra hundreds a year travelling to as many away days as possible, and each game I have my fingers crossed that we lose so that the manager fails. It’s just honest logic.

I think yesterday & West Ham were his two most consistent back to back performances since becoming number 1. Still kicks far too many unchallenged balls into touch for me… Will be really interesting to see what we do in the summer re Keepers, as can’t see Bajic being kept on, which frees up the need to bring a keeper in. A better back up, or a genuine new number 1 challenge?
  14. And also, note how they waited until they were losing to reveal the banners. How strong and noble of them… Have a lot of time and respect for Palace as a club and fanbase, but what they did yesterday was pretty cringe imo.
  15. My 2 + 2 that twine can’t play Friday, so was making sure he got as many minutes as possible and keeps anis ‘Fresh’. Although is something quite funny about how much was made of his “changing” of Mehmeti, wanted to sign him at Oxford, new lease of life etc and then he’s signed over with the very first player
  16. Don’t ruin this with facts, you’ll be a cult of Nigel! Think it’s pretty clear we need a pre season under him now, but do still think he’s very much still working out what to do. 16 from 13 with a near enough fit squad (or at least much better than he inherited) isn’t great reading. Yesterday was poor to me and certainly not the kindest of fixture lists coming up, although maybe it’ll work in our favour playing against teams who ‘open up’ more. This will certainly be a test of whether that’s true or not.
  17. Didn’t realise Richard O’Donnell was at Blackpool these days, in goal for them today. Firework watching, back pedal stumbling City goalkeeping legend.
  18. They were all just stood around each training session doing rondos for 3 hours, 4 days a week for 3 straight years
  19. Maintain, when fit, and if we play a 2 in CB, it’s Dickie and Atkinson every day of the week for me. Without any hesitation. Dickie Atkinson Vyner in a 3 is very solid though, if we’re going down that formation route.
  20. He got sent back from FGR a few months into his loan. Will be gone in the summer, if not before. Probably do well to do a contract from an EFL club too, the way it’s going.
  21. The best football related content out there atm for me. Incredible podcast, amazing topics and discussion every week.
  22. They can both really play the “bad cop” role, apparently. The last head coach/current set up we had, always had two side kicks. I think Hogg and Manning coming as a duo, with Hogg by all accounts being a very good coach (first team coach at Ipswich at 32/33 iirc, don’t get given that unless you’re any good) has given him more more license and authority to be a “leader” even as an assistant.
