  1. He is having a shocker so far. O’Leary having a blinder..
  2. Horrendous start so far. Can’t get out of our own half
  3. It’s a scary thought to imagine what Pearson could have done with the money that was squandered by those 2 idiots.
  4. So what has been causing football violence in decades gone by then? Because from what i can see the same levels of aggression and casual culture that is in football now has never gone away irrespective of people being sniffed up. As @Sir Colby-Tit has more eloquently than me pointed out, this is a far more complex issue that comes down to many factors mainly cultural society deprivation etc. The government are just doing what they always do and instead of trying to get to the route cause are highlighting cocaine use as the problem because it’s the easy blanket solution.
  5. Cocaine obviously has risen in popularity and ease to get hold of over the last 15-20 years i don’t think anyone can dispute that but i think the authorities really are clutching at straws if they think it is ‘fuelling’ disorder anymore than having 7 or 8 pints does. Football disorder was rife in the 60s 70s and 80s long before cocaine was just a phone call away. What was ‘fuelling’ it back then? Certainly not saying it helps mind you but alcohol the worst and most destructive drug in our society once again gets overlooked.
  6. But but but they are the family club.. absolute disgrace the lot of them!
  7. Fair play for him coming out and saying that. They were truly awful on the night.
  8. I agree in regards to Scott and Semenyo, would be very surprised if either or both stay with us beyond this season. All we can do is hope and trust in the recruitment process. We haven’t seen what Pearson is capable of in the transfer market if he has funds available so it will be interesting/exciting to see what is possible when the purse strings are relaxed. Scott will be a big loss especially when he plays like last night he is unstoppable at times. Semenyo on the other hand isn’t going to be the huge loss many think he will IMO.
  9. I’ve always liked Martin and he has had some decent moments in a City shirt over the last couple of seasons but i think we should have let him go at the end of last season to be honest. He was never blessed with pace but his legs look fully gone now.. His good movement and awareness always seemed to compensate for his lack of pace but even that’s not working for him now and has all just become a bit painful to watch to be honest. I think it just highlights where we are financially though unfortunately - we are crying out for a replacement but i can guarantee the powers that be have told Pearson there just isn’t the money available to do it.
  10. Can’t disagree with any of what you have said to be fair. We played very well at times tonight and on another day we win the game with ease. Certainly no panic yet from me although the table isn’t great reading tonight i must admitt. Teams below us are now picking up points, looking like its going to be an incredibly tight relegation battle this year and we really don’t want to be involved in it!
  11. Got to be honest the bottom half of the league is starting to look a bit of a concern now. We have played at least 1 more game than most and teams like West Brom, Boro Coventry etc are starting to pick up wins now. A relegation battle is a distinct possibility this season i fear.
  12. Indeed. They were absolutely dire, they must be walking away from that wondering how they have even managed a point let alone all 3. As you said scandalous how they are anywhere near the top.
  13. Id love to whack that Mcburnie, what an ugly pikey looking ***
  14. What a truly depressing night. I ******* hate football.
  15. Nige persists with bringing him on when chasing a game though..
  16. Fair play this Sheffield United team are dire. **** knows what the fuss is about Norwood aswell, the guy has been bossed over the pitch in the middle.
