  1. I wonder if as a defensive unit we are capable of going a game without a complete howler…?
  2. No chance we will wear the 3rd kit at Burnley - would be too much of a clash.
  3. Day up the lions tomorrow it is then lads **** it! ?
  4. Im at work today along with the vast majority of the population so i really don’t get your point.
  5. Its about having the choice to mourn how you see appropriate. I think having that choice is what people are wishing for as we are after all living in 2022 and not the post war 50’s as somebody else quite rightly pointed out. Yes we all agree that we are living through history and its an incredibly sad time for the nation but if you or anyone else wants to mourn then i respect that. You can stay home for the next few days and watch the endless tributes and other things that will no doubt be all over the BBC etc etc. Nobody is trying to force anyone to do anything, quite the opposite in fact. Its about choice IMO.
  6. No one knows as of yet. Unfortunately the thread has been taken over by childish bellends.
  7. Hopefully some common sense prevails. Yes by all means cancel everything on the day of the funeral but anything other than that really isn’t necessary IMO.
  8. There is a link unfortunately..been numerous studies on it recently. https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/news/frequent-strenuous-exercise-increases-chance-developing-mnd-genetically-risk-individuals
  9. Under the previous regime of LJ he is spot on but we are IMO a different beast under Pearson. It’s just lazy and shows a lack of real understanding of the club to just look at historical performances.
  10. Would be very interesting to see how he does in the Prem
  11. I had them tipped to have an outside chance at the play-offs aswell but can’t see that now somehow!
  12. Cotts then GJ for me. Both achieved promotion/won things for us. Something Wilson never did. Wilson will be remembered as a ‘nearly manager’ for me certainly not a ‘proper’ manager.. anyone that says anything different is a trolling *** ?
  13. Agreed. I actually think with the way the game is developing in this country mainly thanks to Pep Klopp etc and as it seems to be filtering down the divisions, over the next decade or so your ‘’luxury’’ type of players (Palmer and Tomlin the first two that spring to mind) will become more of a rarity especially in the top two divisions. Regardless of talent players in the modern game are now all being expected to put a shift in over 90 mins and to be able to press and cover their fair share of KM’s. Managers and fans just won’t put up with players like Palmer who think they can just jog about and add a maverick touch every now and then and think that will be enough.
  14. Found his level at Coventry it would seem, probably a high possibility he will be playing league 1 football with them next season aswell ?
  15. Agreed thought he has been below par (for his standard) in the majority of games this season. He was back to his best today.
  16. Fair play to Conway man - really is nothing better than seeing a local lad doing so well ?
  17. He certainly has improved his performances and concentration levels since Naismith has joined. I have been slightly critical of Kai since he has joined but I don’t think anyone can deny that his vocal presence/leadership has helped us and in particular Vyner.
  18. Call me old school but i like defenders who can first and foremost bloody defend. Bollox to the set pieces get the basics right for your position first!
  19. Are you bi-polar? You are a man of severe extremes.. good to see you appearing after a win though ??
  20. Great result another clean sheet will only help confidence aswell! Without wanting to sound negative but im really not convinced about Naismith. He makes me feel on edge whenever he is in possession.. Yes his set pieces are good but Christ his primary role in the team is to defend.
