  1. Vile vile creatures. I’ve said it already and i’ll say it again considering some of the mobs Cardiff have brought in years gone by Saturday’s showing was absolutely pathetic from them.
  2. Yeah i am in agreement it is looking likely he has been released. Just seems very odd to release a player who had a certain amount of hype about him (scored on his pro debut local lad etc) mid way their the season with no announcement.
  3. Strange if he has been released mid way through the season?
  4. Oh yeah I totally forgot about that. It showed yesterday to be honest, if that was the offering from their ‘youth’ element then what an embarrassment. A laughing stock both on and off the pitch.
  5. Its a far cry from the mobs Cardiff have brought in the past. The soul crew is dead on it’s ass it would seem.
  6. People just start the session earlier. Makes no difference. This thread is a bit of a non event anyway. We play our biggest rivals in this league and there are a few handbags outside and they trash the toilets, disorder (if you can even call it that) is hardly worth the mention anymore.
  7. And many on here would have Pack back if given the chance..! We got rid of both at the right time IMO. They both look past their sell by dates at this level.
  8. Don’t think anyone has been in doubt. On his day he is a good player at this level but he cannot be flogged week in week out. A tired fatigued Chris Martin is horrendous and painful to watch. Credit to Nige for bringing him back into the team in a game that suited him. Use him sparingly and he is a great asset.
  9. Haha i love Nige. Says what the vast majority of us are thinking. I for one am delighted Bakinson is now off the bus. Nothing infuriates me more than seeing a player wearing our great shirt that looks disinterested and lazy, cheerio Ty!
  10. It’s still criminal the way that Eliasson was misused by the club and then sold for a pittance. Another shocking footballing decision to go down with the countless others Steve Lansdown has overseen at the football club..!
  11. Indeed. Its pretty black and white for me. He has Had more than enough chances at this football club.
  12. Couldn’t have worded it better to be honest. People bemoaning the fact we can’t compete with the clubs with PP but it was only a few summers ago we were spunking millions left right and centre on players. £8 million on a centre half ffs, millions and millions on dross/questionable signings like KP Nagy Dasilva etc etc. Somebody posted a list of the signings we made under LJ and Ashton’s watch and it was eye watering to be quite frank. We have had the money to compete with the PP clubs but just haven’t spent it wisely. As you said the wrong horse was backed by Lansdown, we have had our chance and we had MORE than enough money in the war chest to have had a right go in this division but we didn’t.
  13. Where are people getting this 100k a week figure from for Mitrovic by the way? 30-60 k a week maybe but no chance is he on over a 100k!
  14. Indeed. In regards to Bobby leaving to join Cardiff whilst yes it was a great move for him and his family financially and a chance to play in the Prem bla bla bla but it was a middle finger up to the fans to be honest. We have had a huge and at times quite nasty rivalry with Cardiff both on and off the field and it felt as if he just left with no hesitation. You only have to look back over the years of countless players that have made moves like this, many Leeds fans still haven’t forgiven Alan Smith for moving to United for example! As you said football is theatre and if people want to boo then it wouldn’t bother me in the slightest.
  15. Indeed. The last two performances have actually given me hope that we will be okay this season.
  16. I’m not sure what people expect from our academy to be honest. We have to realise that not everyone of them will make it with us and that is just life. Whilst the academy has improved vastly from where it was 15-20 years ago i still think it is unrealistic for us to expect to bring through 4 or 5 championship players simultaneously through year on year. We have had an excellent past few seasons in bringing through Reid, Kelly and Bryan and the next homegrown batch in Pring , Benarous , O’leary and Towler (who IMO needs a couple more loans at a higher level) all look like they have huge potential. Add the likes of Scott and Semenyo who whilst haven’t been with us through all the age groups but were all brought in for little to no fee’s at academy level then the future is bright IMO.
  17. Was fantastic here before he got injured. To be honest i would much rather have Afobe now than Wells given the chance.
