When we got promoted to the Championship SL said he was shocked at the fees and wage demands of players and agents at this level. Maybe he is scared of the Prem. 100 mil Sky money won't go that far once you start signing big names on big bucks. He needn't be too worried cos we ain't gonna get there anytime soon.

So was he at the footie or rugger today? Does anyone know? It might give us a clue as to his priorities.

I can see what you say but for our team, there is no high line or possession football, its just eleven in or around our own penalty area. Have you seen Bentley catch a corner then race to the egde of his box for a quick release, only to find he is our furthest man forward, 18yards from his goal line. There is no game management plan at all that I can see.

But this is the very reason we are conceding late goals so often. Making sure we don't get beat means defending deeper and deeper as the game goes on thereby inviting the pressure from endless opposition attacking. I'm fed up watching the opposition goalie spending the last 30 minutes, on the halfway line, watching the game take place in our half. Attack is the best form of defence and you never know, we might just score one ourselves.

How worrying is that. A team that just left there beat us with 10 men.

To be fair there could only be one answer.

Its easy in training against our own players. They don't move!!

At least there are a couple of potential game changers on the bench today. Trouble is we could be in trouble really early today. Wow I hate this total lack of confidence spreading through this team and fans.

On a serious note if Nige does give up due to ill health , now would be a good time as the new man wouldn't have to replace Nigels coaches. They have already left.

Wouldn't condone anything vicious Dave but we have no guts, no pace, no height, and apparently no game plan. Something has to change, and quick!

Keeping our full backs wider to prevent the crosses and getting our midfielders to stop the supply to opposing wingers thereby forcing the opposition to play the way we want them to. I played extensively at full back in my youth and I never allowed my winger the time to control it , look up , and measure his cross the way ours do. We need to play out from the back keeping the ball on the ground. We don't have enough height to play the long high ball game. All easy to say I know but with our team it appears hard to execute.

Put Palmer in behind those 2 and play it on the frigging floor. If heading ever gets banned our style will be forked!!

I've said before that we are forever" rebuilding" at City. We always sale our best assets rather than add to them. You have to speculate to accumulate, we never do. Going back to when Cotts was forced out, the club couldn't wait to break up his squad and start again. LJ.....3 windows. NP.....3 years. etc. etc. If we had built on our strengths when Cotts left, things may have been different. Yes we got some good fees but they were wasted on mediocrity, again! Now we wait for Jan or the summer to start yet another rebuild. Come on City, I 'm too old to wait much longer, and this time there's not much to build on.

We need some pace in our team. Surely the youngsters are quicker than what we have. What's Ivan Sproule doing nowadays?

I don't think Wilder could get this team playing. May as well swap Nige for Barton. Leave alone till Jan at least imo.

LJ said it would take 3 windows. It's all just manager talk to buy time. All managers fail, some just sooner than others. I think Nige is struggling to get any confidence into these players but that's part of his job and if he can't do it , well, it's them or him. SL might have to work out if it's cheaper to change the players or the manager soon.

If we are going to play through midfield, (someone had better tell Bentley), then it might suit Kasey.

Well done Neil. Great achievement. You can fool some of the people all of the time......etc. He's fooled so many on here along the way. Like "the red rules" said above, what if?

Kasey is that old enigma where if he was playing against us we would say "wow he's just what we need ". Trouble is, as has been stated on here, we don't play a style that would suit him. We play long ball to Martin rather than play through midfield with runners up top , which would suit Palmers game more. I think we change our game to suit his style, which I would prefer to watch anyway , or we let him go. My money's on the latter.

Or maybe we should get Afobe back here! Palmer has had chances here but not a great run of games to instill himself in the team. One poor performance and he's out. Others have had more chances even when under performing.

Palmer , Tomlin, Jet ,Jacki. The list of skilful players that we have been unable to get a tune out of on a regular basis. Although none went on to be world beaters did they?

I think at least one of the Welsh clubs will be back in the Prem before us unfortunately.
