  1. Sorry about the confusion. I was just continuing our banter and giving my reasons why I was unhappy about the pricing. I'm all for encouraging the kids to come as they will be our future but 2 or 3000 kids at a quid, who won't all come back again, won't make up for the loss of adult attendance at theses prices. I think they got it wrong this time.
  2. We're playing them in the league the following week, but my s/t seat will cost about £5 less then. Surely the price shouldn't be dearer because its a cup tie. It's hardly a glamour tie ffs.
  3. It's a football match not a crèche
  4. Approaching an opposition player already on a yellow in the hope of getting him/her sent off is the sort of misguided judgements these lunatics would make, and it could well alter the outcome of the match. Best thing for the players to do is take a breather and leave it to the officials to deal with, unless of course they are defending themselves.
  5. Could this happen at a match then when potentially 10-15000 people all trying to access their apps at the same time along with the same situation at 40 other grounds?
  6. Nothing wrong with Morecombe. I had a nice time there about 11pm one Saturday many years ago. Lovely girl, very accommodating.
  7. You actually believe what our mayor says???? Seriously, put a system of overhead monorail in place and leave the roads to us motorists and cyclists.
  8. The goal kick stuff is to draw us in then to bypass us with long ball. Seemed we did our homework on this and they ended up like the Chuckle brothers, to me to you etc.
  9. That's a hell of a lot of touches. Shows how negative they were though.
  10. I was amazed at the number of times they went backwards to retain possession. Their keeper must have had more touches than anyone in their defensive line.
  11. The clever players pick the ball up and hold onto it whilst confronting the referee. This gives them time to organise. Yes it's still time wasting but it never ends in a booking. Kicking it away is so blatant. Get savvy lads.
  12. I just can't fathom why the team that fought tooth and nail for every ball against Stoke on Wednesday were so submissive today. Don't anyone dare tell me that the players were tired. They are paid to play football and playing 3 times a week is not uncommon. They have just had an International break . Something is wrong here at our club and it could cost us if its not resolved soon.
  13. Yes quite possibly but he wasn't backed and wasn't liked at boardroom level.
  14. This club lost its momentum when Cotts left. Yes LJ did ok up until the Man Utd game when he thought he had become Jurgen Klopp. We've been sliding backwards since then and now relegation is a real possibility, it may be to late for the club to wake up. We may well be heading back to our average position of Champ/Div 1 yo yo club.. Opportunities have been wasted and so the cycle continues.
  15. Strange that Palmer cant get into the team because of his lack of effort and work rate. Now I know that Palmer might not be the answer, but if Bakinson is, then we are asking the wrong question.
  16. We need to see what Nige can do during the window cos this lot will take us down
  17. Mcgoldrick and Sharpe are almost 70 between them, and they make us look slow.
  18. Will the gas get their weekly pen too?
  19. Strange how so many on here are applauding our new gamesmanship methods and shithousery during recent games, but many would not have wanted the master of it, one Neil Warnock , anywhere near our club. (Tin hat on)
  20. Last night was so much more enjoyable, despite their possession, because we competed for every ball. Two of the things we have both complained about Dave, the cutting out of passes to their wide men, and the closing down of the wide men quicker to prevent them picking out a cross, were dealt with last night by being more competitive on and off the ball. Those things plus the added toughness and aggression ( and shithousery), meant I could watch the last quarter of the match without fearing we were going to let it slip. So glad to see we have toughened up as a unit at last and it's the youngsters leading the way. I've been critical of our performances lately but credit where its due, there are real signs of progress. As a side issue, how much of the 9 added minutes were due to Kalas wiping the ball for every throw? I know the ref had words with him but he still kept doing it.
