  1. We don't have a great success rate with the "bootroom" policy.
  2. Was he the man that picked the team and made the substitutions on Saturday? If Nige has been unwell for a while is it Flemming who has been running this side lately? If yes to both or either of these questions, then it's a big no from me.
  3. My take for what its worth. No point in Shakespeare if Nige isn't going to be able to continue. We cant approach anyone else in case Nige does continue. So basically we haven't got a clue what to do. Who will do the January window if Nige is still unwell and uncertain about returning? Can things get much worse? Of course they can, and probably will.

I'm pretty sure it won't be Warnock but if we want to get points any way we can , what's wrong with his way if it keeps us up. Short term it's win win if he keeps us up cos we're going down as we are now.

Perhaps we need to foreign next. That will take months though.

If it is Nige leaving on health grounds them let's wish him well. His time here would have done his health no favours. Wouldn't expect a new name though, City don't work that quick unless this sequence of events has been brewing for a while.

Who is going from Middlesbrough to Cornwall via Bristol I wonder?
  15. My support started with my dad taking me when I was about 7, 65 years ago. I was hooked. Like most I took time out of watching to play local football, then marry and raise a family, and shift work made a season ticket not viable. But the result still mattered and made or spoiled the weekend. Not now however. Yes I'm a long standing season ticket holder, a Senior Red, a shareholder, and a member of the community Trust. So I still support my club and attend every home game although no longer away matches. The difference now is that the result doesn't matter to me because when I leave the ground, I leave any passion behind. The football is so bland now and the game I grew up loving is no more. Yes there have been highs like promotion, Wembley, Man Utd etc but they are just blips to me. My heart is no longer in it and to be frank its becoming a chore. I watched a game yesterday at Ashton Park between 2 teams of 7 year old. It was honestly the most enjoyable game I've seen in BS3 in about 4 years!!! This is really quite sad.
  16. I wonder what is being discussed at Lansdown Towers tonight?
  17. If we wait a week or so for Shakespeare it may be too late.
  18. Jon has been given the football club to play with while Steve concentrates on the Rugby. Trouble is that Jon now wants another toy because this ones broken. Dad wont help him mend it so Jon is having a sulk somewhere. This is tongue in cheek mind.
  19. Chill out guys. Its Sunday. This is Bristol City. Whats the rush? Lets take our time etc etc etc....
  20. Although I wouldn't be against NW short term, if Nige stays unwell, I think the problems are far far deeper than the head coach/manager. The club have been regressing, or at least not progressing, for a number of years and you have to look for the common denominater during that time. I think we all know where that takes us. I don't want SL, and his backing, to go, but it has to change and quickly.
  21. The man has an impressive promotion record, managed over 1000 games, has a no nonsense approach to the players, diverts media attention to himself, and would certainly kick ass if he was here. People on here still say stick with what we have and get relegated. His record speaks for itself but as SL doesn't like him, then its debate over.
  22. Same thought entered my head. I've suggested Warnock here before so I would not be against it. Plus it would finally answer the question about Neil Warnock, what if...?
