Somebody, @Dollymarie?, posted a map on here a little while back showing the City and Rovers fans by post code and it was grim viewing for them. It reminded me of a sketch on the Two Ronnies where they did a spoof on the voting polls showing the UK as red and blue with a small yellow dot in the ocean. Ronnie Barker was saying "here you can see the labour areas in red, the tory areas in blue and out here (pointing to the yellow dot) you can see that the Liberal have Rockall
Don’t think this is what you are talking about but I have posted this on several occasions over the past few years. It came from the redevelopment documents way back when it was going through the planning process and shows the distribution of city season ticket holders across the region.
1) the data would have been generated when our number of season ticket holders were much lower
2) there is indeed a high volume of season ticket holders in the historical heartlands of south Bristol
3) the 2nd and 3rd highest areas appear to be east and north Bristol, historically/arguably, areas where rovers would have pulled most of their support. That may still be the case but they are most definitely not ‘blue’ areas.
4) Gary morris is totally deluded

“Brandon Aguilera has joined Rovers on loan from Nottingham Forest, on a deal which will make him a Rovers player until the end of the season!”
Is the fanbase so thick that the club have to explain what a loan is?

We are in Stratford and my mate has managed to lose his ticket. Nothing he can do with the ticket office but if anyone has a spare ticket to sell and we could meet you outside the ground please let me know. Much appreciated

The approach was no different . Can’t you see that ? Watford came out to attack us leaving space , Birmingham & millwall didn’t . I do wonder what people are watching sometimes.
I tell what I was watching against millwall, a shocking attempt at possession football, sideways and backward passing, no threat in the final third and 1 attempt on target……so yea, I can see that.

Today’s press interviews indicated “this boss ain’t for changing”…so similar set up / approach.
Let’s hope it’s the Watford approach and not Birmingham/millwall approach

Was I alone in spotting the bird swooping down onto the pitch throughout the second half of the game on Saturday? East End end?
I think it was either a pied or grey wagtail but couldn't tell from the 32nd row of the Dolman. What are other readers thoughts?
Was it this one? If so, unfortunately flew full pelt into the Heineken lounge window…..RIP little bird

3) They feel LM is a better prospect to speed up that progress towards the ultimate aim of promotion so appointed him.
Based on what though? Really want to give Manning every chance to succeed but he has never coached at this level or achieved anything to date.
They have thrown away the coaching/management team who have been there and done it previously and pulled the club and squad around from the damage done by Johnson/ashton for a complete blind shot in the dark…..massive gamble but can only hope it works for all our sakes

I will always view that season as a missed opportunity. We had the wrong man in charge in Ward (it’s forgotten sometimes that he himself had said he’d run out of ideas) and completely lopsided the recruitment - two of Akinbiyi, Anderson and Thorpe would have been fine then you use the funds to get better players in defence
IIRC I’m not sure Ward had total control of bringing in all 3 strikers

The other thing to consider is the rumour that CF has already gone…..if that is true then surely somebody will be coming in today

Why continue to employ some legendary ******* after the Swansea debacle?
I think it’s time to let that one go
He has done a lot of good over the past few years with the academy regardless of whether he has or not had a direct hand in getting Nige out
