I’m no legal expert on planning but my spidey senses are telling me that, “a planning application has been submitted” is different to “planning permission has been obtained.”
Still I’m sure nothing will go wrong
Well there’s certainly no planning application on the council planning portal. They may have submitted plans but over the past couple of years the council have been very slow loading up onto the portal and then they have a huge backlog reviewing applications.
No chance of getting planning reviewed, approved, construction started and completed by August……unless of course brown envelopes are floating across the council chambers

Slavery is wrong. Doesn’t matter when, who, how, the colour of the slave or of the trader. I’m not sure why you think that anyone would think otherwise. And why you seem to feel that somehow the fact that it’s still goes on today, and is practiced by black slave traders, somehow makes what happened in the past any less awful.
I link the word ‘Italian’ to ‘Romans’ whose power and economy were built from slavery.
Dave, I am slightly offended so would suggest you consider changing your username

Unlikely to add another GK.
That’s a frightening proposition.
Unless bajic returns who we have no idea if he is any good yet, that’s leaves max (still not comfortable with him as number 1 if we are looking to make a challenge for the PO next season) and harvey (no experience at all)

Even better…..can we just not sing any songs related to rovers. They have been irrelevant for over 20 years and absolutely love it that we still sing about them.

Massengo was not disruptive.
Not suggesting he was but how can you be so confident he wasn’t?

yep, that’s the training ground.
I used to play Sunday parks football in the 80s that had better changing rooms than that

For true comparison, we can always pull up their papa johns trophy attendances…..

What's the point of having a nice kit if you can't sell it because you can't get hold of any stock?
I appreciate that and the club have to do what they have to do but issues with kit whether it be design, distribution or availability seems to have been going on for years whilst JL has bern involved

They have actually got a thread going on AssChat entitled "Worst Smell at a Rovers Game"

Why do I get the feeling if this is all true, the kit is going to be horrendous. Just when everything is looking up, JL throws a hissy fit and gets his crayons out

I dont think you can just give up paying for it, he will have to complete the payment plan which I think ends in March

He got tomlin sent off against us with his tricks.
I think he's got better at it with age but he definitely had it in him to wind up then go down like he'd been shot whilst at us.
He’s got better at it whilst playing for Preston

We have seen in recent weeks, in fact, most of the season, that there really is no need to play a target man. I was brought up on Neville and Riley, two smaller, energetic forwards who made up for lack of inches with endeavour and smart movement. So I’ve never subscribed to “must have a target man”.
Same for me and although that appears to be the way we are going, you can’t beat a bit of Taylor & Turner every now and then

A big IF right now but with a big day ahead of us it is certainly exciting to think that we could have this depth after today. People can dispute who would be in the first team or second team, and of course there are always injuries to contend with, but that is some pretty impressive depth if we pull everything off today that is allegedly intended.
Haikin
Tanner. Vyner. Atkinson. Pring
James. Naismith
Weimann. Scott. Mehmeti
WellsO’Leary
Wilson. O’Brien. Kalas. Currie
Williams. Kadji
Bell. Sykes. Cornick
ConwayBenarous as well and all of the up and coming youngsters.
Swap Conway and Wells around and that first team has been put together for about £5m I think.
Who would win that game? Answers on a postcard…

who else could have a bouncy castle with tarmac to bounce their kids on? thats got to be a dumbarton idea
Officer…”so mr Barton, how did your wife sustain these bruises and a particularly large bump on her head?”Barton…”well officer, we were having a great time on the bouncy castle and then my wife got a bit over confident, tried a double somersault and then fell ass over tit onto the hard tarmac”

Exactly. I can’t understand the ‘why would anyone pay to park?’ posts. Some people cannot get to the ground until late so have no choice unless they sprint to the game from one mile away!
I’m not sure I was in total agreement with you……..
Park, free or otherwise at 2.45…..no chance
Park for free in parts of Ashton / bedminster…..absolutely doable if you don’t mind a little walk and or getting there around 1.00

Where can I park for free at 2:45pm please?
Anybody who thinks they can roll up and park at 2.45, let alone for free, really needs to consider alternative transport arrangements

His approach to man management is to belittle and bully people - you can see this from his press conferences.
How many times has Pearson been in court for being a “bully”? Barton has regularly thrown his own players under the bus, publicly…..
how many opposition managers has he slagged off to the press because they had the audacity to beat you?
the man is a thug, a bully, a hypocrite and has absolutely no self-awareness….a match made in heaven
