I also have to say that Leicester were there for the taking today. Yes, they had chances but so did we. Max kept us in the game a couple of times but on the whole, we played well 

I'm prepared to eat a small piece of humble pie and some of my words. 

He set us up well and the team played for him. We didn't look like the team we've been recently. 

The jury is still out though

I struggle with the whole England thing. I know we have an abundance of talented youngsters but I feel we've entrusted them with a manger who didn't prove himself at club level and therefore didn't merit the job.

I'd love him to succeed. I don't believe that losing a World Cup semi is success although I recognise that people would consider that this is our level. Same goes to losing to Italy in the Euros.

I'd just like him to win something and prove me wrong.

…would you not think that there should be a reasonable debate that you should be winning the Euros? This isn’t saying Southgate’s bad. It’s saying that only probably France can compete with that resource wise, so it has to be looked at in the lens of what are reasonable expectations with that resource, as opposed to facepalms. Thats not really arguing a point…

Other Championship clubs have taken decisive action in an attempt to limit damage and get fans back on side. They would have been embarrassed too but they knew it needed to be done and didn't shirk a difficult decision.

When something's not working the sooner the situation is rectified the better - in this case for LM too imo.

They may well be embarrassed, as they should be, but that embarrassment and discomfort will only increase the longer they leave it.

Take the bull by the horns and put everyone out of their misery, no club should settle for the sort of stability LM brings which is rapidly emptying the stands.
