City1970
I thought Ward was doing a fantastic job, perhaps he got promoted upstairs as a reward for his efforts.

GodEmperor Palpatine
You really think that Lansdown can sit back and relax about finances, owing to the fact that great hordes attend AG? Your smugness knows no bounds. Without Stephen Lansdown you would have no we. How can you be snug knowing another man is paying the majority of your bills? Why do you and others insist on there would be no club without Lansdown?? Total BS man, we were fine before he took the helm. Somehow, some way the Gas will skank their way out of relegation... redsquirrel
i reckon we need to find out who grassed on agent ward,he was doing a sterling job taking them down, next up it will be clarkson shown the door, hes put in a valliant effort this season too,so close and yet so far to seeing them get stuffed at the hand stadium in a few years time
redcityman
Perhaps Rovers are banking on the dead cat bounce that often happens with a new manager? The supposed dead cat bounce won't happen, at least not at the Mem, the cat wont get a chance to bounce before some sag jumps the fence to bag said cat for the Sunday roast. Your smugness knows no bounds. Without Stephen Lansdown you would have no we. How can you be snug knowing another man is paying the majority of your bills? Good old typo's. The thing is, I enjoy football rivalry but wouldn't gloat over any club going out of business. There is no room for smuggnes, when without Stephen Lansdown's money, it could be City that easily join those already in financial difficulty. Wouldn't we, without SL, have just bumbled along largely like we've always done? Probably got promoted from League One at some point (it happens, periodically), and then relegated a bit sooner, but without splashing out on England goalies and the like. Then just dawdled about again in League One until the stars aligned somehow, someone got enough things right, bit of momentum, and we limp over the line in second place back into the Championship. Where we might have one good year before falling out miserably again. And around we go again. Not sure we NEED SL to do all this, we can manage it by ourselves
Norwegian Red
A properly refurbed ground, now that's another matter. We do need SL for that. And I'm very grateful to him for this generosity, and prepared to forgive him all sorts because of it...

Nevertheless, you carry on with your smug ownership delusions of BCFC. By the way, how much money do you have to put into BCFC by monday? Cab we rely on you to facilitate transfers, loans, wage bills?

Based on Lansdowns spending over the years? think gate receipts/income to wages/transfer fees is desperately inbalanced hence why we were 40M in the hole... 18M spent on wages at one point as well but you keep thinking everything is hunky dory. My point was that just before Lansdown took over, we weren't on the verge of extinction so how can you justify without him there would be no club? We certainly wouldn't have the debt he has accumulated for one.
