Rochdale Vs Bcfc Matchday Thread

But we've been on the back foot for the majority of the second half by the sounds of it. Rochdale's subs look as though they are working for them, so what shape should we keep when it sounds like we don't have one?

We have Championship class players on our bench who could tip this game in our favour but for some reason, we're not using them. Call me greedy, but 3 points today is, and was very much there for the taking.

Playing away I would expect us to be on the back foot.

To me it sounds like Rochdale are trying and coming at us but not too much conviction or danger. I'd not gamble but soak it up - that's invariably part and parcel of an away game.

I certainly don't agree it's 'there for the taking' - a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

If this was March id scream for a change, but in August; nah keep ticking over.

We could have still kept it tight, but maybe having Freeman, Baldock, JET & Agard as our main attacking threat would have given Rochdale a bit more to think about don't you think?

No I dont think it would because there's not much hold up there. Flood the midfield and hit on the break. Only change for me would be Agard for Baldock, but then it's not a fair ask for him to come in and have no time to settle and chuck him on for 10 minutes to get a goal.

Down to Cotterill nothing in this half lucky not to be losing throwing points away already all that talent wasted twiddling their thumbs on the bench.

It's fine to soak up pressure from a home side, granted. But why not counter attack with Freeman, Agard, JET, Baldock instead?

Unless Freeman had a knock, it was a poor change IMO.

It Doesnt really sound like we are ticking over, we look in serious danger of being beaten.
