Always disappointing to lose, but keep in mind we're only a mid table standard team. We will lose a lot of games this season.

As long as we stay up and aren't considered in the relegation pack then that's progress.

Ugly ugly game.

In fairness, Warnock got the best out of his team, and we allowed ourselves to get dragged down to a niggly battle. First goal crucial, as it gave them something to hang on to. Cardiff worked their socks off, but little quality. We looked really poor for long parts - whatever that was it was not a game of football.

For what it's worth I felt let down by GON performance. Looked to struggle with the pace and physicality of the game at times. To the point where he was ushered back into our own half only to lose possession with a poor pass. Improvement needed from him.

Had 2 full backs out there tonight who didn't get in the game and didn't defend particularly well either. 

Felt LJ made the right substitutions but took off the wrong players . You dont take off your top scorer at a goal down !

I understand the reason for bringing on Wilbraham to support Abraham, and taking off Pack for a more attacking midfielder in Reid. No problems there.

But, Freeman's game was fading as Patterson's game was improving (although the threat of being substituted may bring that on).

That's the substitution I found to be a bit puzzling.
