In a well matched series it may come down to who gets the rub of the green. We had it with the toss but having to go out and bat then was nightmarish for England

Looks sunny all day tomorrow- England bat all day and get 300 plus then on Tuesday the forecast is a bit like today. Get the Aussies in with a bit of movement in the air and a collapsing pitch.

Easy ?

In fairness we had better weather to bowl yesterday and wasted it.

It was a bit better than the day before but wasn’t offering much I don’t think. Certainly nothing compared to having to bat in those rain effected dark spells.

But you have to take what’s thrown your way, it looked like Crawley let it get the better of him, shaking his head as he walked off like he should never have been out there batting.

We should have decent conditions when we bowl next just hope we’ve got enough runs to play with and the bowlers available to exploit it.

I've not really been watching the match much today, but have just had a quick glance at the BBC site, where they show a clip of Darth Vader being escorted out of the ground.

The BBC commentator suggested he might have been arrested, and a co-commentator suggested that he had been asking for it and was getting nothing more than he deserved.

Does anybody know what he had been doing?

Why is Robinson getting so much stick? Jeez the Aussies have been doing this for years!

You did it to me so i can do it to you is an argument my 10 yr old is already growing out of.

Im all for a bit of agro and sledging but what Robinson did yesterday was just embarrassing , and his comments in the media afterwards even more so.

I agree. Not covered himself in glory. If he had said, post match, it was adrenaline and apologised it wouldn't be news today. By doubling down on it he has made himself look like an idiot and also a target.

, Looked at this one a few times & the the ball leaves the catchers hands for a split second & grounds before he closes his fingers around it ?

On catches like that the camera can often make it look like something it’s not. I remember Nasser doing 20 minutes on it years ago. He had the ball in his hands during a lunch break and on camera if absolutely looked like the ball was touching the ground

I actually think Root patting Khawaja on the back didn't do Robinson any favours! I get your point about the press conference but in the heat of the moment on the pitch it doesn't bother me.

KP is horrendous

You don't like him? Id not noticed ?

His ego means he has to be the centre of the universe but they are all guilty of it. I would watch and listen to TMS, but sky go is delayed

He just needs to shut up, we’re here to watch the cricket not listen to him witter on

I really miss Bumble and Mikey. Bumble for his amusing manner and Mikey for his delicious gravelly accent - I could listen to them  all day.
