ralphindevon
In a well matched series it may come down to who gets the rub of the green. We had it with the toss but having to go out and bat then was nightmarish for England

Get the Aussies in with a bit of movement in the air and a collapsing pitch. Easy
Lanterne Rouge
This doesn`t look good for play restarting any time soon. They`ll take an early tea presumably but it`s hammering down now.

It was a bit better than the day before but wasn’t offering much I don’t think. Certainly nothing compared to having to bat in those rain effected dark spells. But you have to take what’s thrown your way, it looked like Crawley let it get the better of him, shaking his head as he walked off like he should never have been out there batting. We should have decent conditions when we bowl next just hope we’ve got enough runs to play with and the bowlers available to exploit it. PHILINFRANCE
I've not really been watching the match much today, but have just had a quick glance at the BBC site, where they show a clip of Darth Vader being escorted out of the ground. The BBC commentator suggested he might have been arrested, and a co-commentator suggested that he had been asking for it and was getting nothing more than he deserved. Does anybody know what he had been doing?

Hopefully can bat most of day and get a decent total to throw them into. Tues looks slightly iffy/humid They need to be back on by 7 and can then play till 7:30. Can`t see it myself. Northern Red
I'm prepared for them to make me look silly and say it can resume, but the cynic in me thinks that they're delaying the call-off long enough to maximise beer sales.
Super
Why is Robinson getting so much stick? Jeez the Aussies have been doing this for years!

I agree. Not covered himself in glory. If he had said, post match, it was adrenaline and apologised it wouldn't be news today. By doubling down on it he has made himself look like an idiot and also a target.

I remember Nasser doing 20 minutes on it years ago. He had the ball in his hands during a lunch break and on camera if absolutely looked like the ball was touching the ground

I actually think Root patting Khawaja on the back didn't do Robinson any favours! I get your point about the press conference but in the heat of the moment on the pitch it doesn't bother me.
