Instead of wasting time and putting a well thought out response thus giving them attention and giving them a satisfaction. It's much easier to just hit the rubbish icon and not waste energy or time and moves on to something worth talking or even intelligently debating about with fellow posters. Some people are so staunch in a view and will resort to insults and the such, I avoid as it show's alot about their character and at this point you may as well argue with a brick wall :). Again some people actually embrace being the one to stir the pot, as I said it provides them attention thus giving the brain a dopamine shot. Example would be social media getting likes on a photo etc and feeling great! Like, I 5k followers on my Facebook and everyday it's the same political arguements, namely the Gun control debates in the US, or even our current political issues at home... I took a step back and avoided even showing and opinion anymore... People just argue and argue, resulting in personal insults, and I watch and smile as people waste so much energy and hate because their view is always RIGHT. So thank god for the Rubbish icon! Hit a button and move on to a more constructive topic/debate. Yes, I was in metal health from aged 16 to 55 apart from 18/12 when I did by SRN training at RUH Bath. A qualification I never actually used although it stood me in good stead throughout my career.
