Mr Popodopolous Posted Monday at 11:57 Author Share Posted Monday at 11:57 Couple of bits, not fully FFP. Derby are looking for investor(s)- presumably Clowes is looking to share the load. Birmingham Share issue. Kieran Maguire says it's £100m+ but it stages at 0.0001.. Amount Paid vs Nominal Value?
Mr Popodopolous Posted Monday at 12:17 Author Share Posted Monday at 12:17 A good chunk of it could be towards their new planned 60k Stadium etc but that aside, what Birmingham fans may not grasp is that when back in the Championship you're back on that £39-41.5m. As we know equity takes a Club to the maximum Allowable Limit.. but not beyond!!

Around £103 million, the nominal value of the share is irrelevant in these circumstances. You just need to look at the amount paid per share, which is either £1 a share, or £0.0001 a share depending upon the transaction. I suspect that the £0.0001 per share are issued to the current holders to ensure that they retain control of the company at minimum cost. Nothing odd here. It would all have been agreed.

So basically take shares for most of thst as £1 per Share? It's not odd no, just couldn't quite work out how much equity etc. Birmingham fans though Idk, that's a major Segment Loss in the HK Accounts- they focus on a £5m Revenue Rise?? It's like they're a mild cult or trance. Translated to £ their pre Tax Loss could've been £27m based on the Segment yet...not even mentioned. Sure £6-7m was Fixed Assets Impairment but added to £50m in 2 Years prior Pre Tax Losses. Edited Monday at 15:15 by Mr Popodopolous
Mr Popodopolous Posted Monday at 15:28 Author Share Posted Monday at 15:28 (edited) Those who were crowing about the top Championship non Parachute Payments Revenue last Season have gone fairly quiet, gotta say. Mr Popodopolous Posted Monday at 17:07 Author Share Posted Monday at 17:07 (edited) At a very rough non checking estimate based on the Hong Kong figures. Before we get onto one-off gains. Birmingham Revenue up £4-5m Birmingham general Cost Base up £11-12m. Obviously the Bellingham money helped the Profit on Disposal of Players to increase £11-12m. Impairment of Fixed Assets and around £6m, both a one-off and FFP excluded. Hence a possible Loss using that of £27m Pre Tax?? It mentions Capital Expenditure of £Xm but isn't generally Profit and Loss. Edited Monday at 17:08 by Mr Popodopolous
