A bomb close to players bus. A player in shock. Dummy birds get upset. 40,000 young people starving to death each single day. Dummy birds don't give a shit.

I think you need to go and have a lay down.

To be fair, this internet malarkey isn't that giving in terms of facts.

Drama, heresay, gossip... yes.

When the head of tbe Western World came to power due to said bullshit it all began to make more sense.

Don't expect better justice from the system, folks.  Expect worse.

The benefit will be humanitarianism, due to the people.

The truth can be hard to take. If the English can't take it there is no hope.

Previous to television and modern communications and the second half of the 20th century, nobody knew much about the suffering of people 20 miles away, or not instantly, and they were not exposed to it repeatedly; roll on 70 odd years and now we are made to feel guilty if we are not doing something about the suffering of people 2000 miles away or anywhere in the world. Compassion is stretched (geniune, meaningful compassion).

But we did not evolve - we are not wired - to show so much concern for so many, and so often. Give us a chance to catch up, eh?

It's so complicated, even my idealism is stretched.

On the one hand, there is enough to keep every soul plenished (in terms of food, water, shelter).

On the other, why should ontrapernal types, people born into wealth, the 'haves', etc  help fund the system?

My personal belief is that we all must give according to our own talents.  Whether a lot or a little.
